  • this show seems really ignorant, he is an american born in the US, he doesnt have any realy ties to India i doubt he's ever been to India before he became a politician.

  • GUYS!!! YOU WILL NOT BELIEVE WHAT INDIA HAS BECOME TODAY!! THE AMERICAN MEDIA BLATANTLY LIES TO US SO THAT THEY GET RATINGS!! INDIA IS ON THE VERGE OF BEING A SUPERPOWER!!!! I JUST TRAVELLED TO NEW DELHI, BANGALORE, PUNJAB, GUJARAT, WEST BENGAL AND MUMBAI AND WHAT I SAW BLEW ME AWAY! BELIEVE ME GUYS, THE MEDIA IS MANIPULATING US! I URGE ALL AMERICANS TO TRAVEL TO INDIA AND SEE FOR THEMSELVES! THE MEDIA HERE IS A JOKE!! ALONG WOTH THE JOKE AND THE FINANCES!!! I AM OUTTA THE US!!

  • He is not an Indian... he turned is back on India..

  • @kingofthenight1

He turned his back on India? How? By being born in the USA? It was his fault that his parents decided to leave their motherland and come for better opportunities here? Am I also turning my back on India because I was raised in the USA? What kind of rubbish is this?! If he turned his back on India, would he ever acknowledge the fact that he has Indian roots in him? I don't think so.

  • @kaminoneh he ignored his hindu roots

  • @ihofaerefa

    Now that's a different argument.

I however, am proud of my Hindu roots. And I was actually born in Bangladesh. However ,unlike the rest of the Bangladeshi ignorant populace, I acknowledge my Indian roots :)

  • I'm full Italian born in the U.S., so if I become governor, some news show is going to go to Italy to interview people? I don't know why this station is doing this, he's American...

  • Idiotic whites.. He is born and raised in US .. he is not a bit Indian.. the way he speaks and behaves he is 100% American. I am an Indian so I know how Indians think and act..

  • LOL CONservatives are soo racist.

I wonder if they went to the "ancestoral homeland" of Reagan too.

  • @mochopz So I guess liberals are racist too, because I do remember liberal news reporters going to Kenya to talk to them about Barack Obama.

  • @mochopz

No, because Reagan is like the millionth generation American while Jindal is the 1st. Reagan is a mix of numerous European nations while Jindal stems strictly India. stupid.

  • jindal does not look punjabi. also he is not a good politician and india should be ashamed to have such a greedy right winger as one of their own.

  • @89yy98gt89

That's such a racist comment. I bet your a liberal racist douche! What do Punjabis supposed to look like?

  • Just goes to show that the US is an open society and we vote for the person, not what he looks like or where his ancestors came from. Way to go Bobby. Also, the next time someone tells me a Black guy can't get a break, I just have to hold up a photo of Barry.

  • All the Democrats who say Jindal changed his religion to run for office should consider whether Obama might have converted from Islam to increase his electoral chances. The difference between the two is that Jindal converted when he was in high school whereas Obama converted while he was in College, just before he started his political career.

  • Jindal has just change his religion to be more accepted in United states........he is not being real

  • Who knows what Religion Obama is since he left Jeremiah's church so, what's the dif?

  • wow frekin Paki, shoulda shipped his ass back to pakiland

  • Thanks a lot for the video!!!!

  • This is redicilous!

Bobby's parents are from northern Indian state called Punjab not Rajasthan. Secondly, these local TV new crew is Showing Taj Mahal and calling it fort....they should have done their homework before spending their TV channels bank in overseas trip. The traving crew came up with a poor quality of journalizm.

  • *news

  • First, they were showing the Taj because its the most recognizable Indian landmark. Not too exciting to show a shot of a Punjab rice paddy.

Second, right before they showed the Taj Mahal, they showed footage of the Agra Fort, which is a couple of miles down the river from the Taj Mahal. That is the Fort from which Shah Jahan (who built the the Taj as a memorial to his favorite wife) ruled and where he was later imprisoned after being deposed by his megalomaniac son.

  • Yeah, it looks like they want on vacation instead of going to his village! LOL One thing is certain from seeing the enthusiasm of the people, India will be hyped if Bobby runs for president.

  • LatinoIndiano-

Bobby running for president? Hm..not sure! Even though, I am Pro-US Pro-India; I won't vote for him (him being from Indian heritage) or anyone on republican ticket. GOP has fu*ked everything up so bad in last 8 years that I've lost trust in republican leadership (if there is any right now) for the time being.

Here's the silverlining- Mr. Jindal is still lot better than assumed-republican-leadership (80% of GOP wants her, it's a fact) of KNOW-NOTHING bimbo from Alaska.

  • Well as you can tell by seeing Jindal's background, he's not the typical Republican. He's better than anything that the Democrats have IMO. A Rhodes Scholar from Oxford, Brown, accepted at Harvard Med and Yale Law.. He's Americas brightest and most brilliant public servant. He's a superstar. Top that off with the tremendous international support he's going to draw. I'm sure the internet would be flooded with his supporters. He's a winner and the GOP would be wise nominate him.

  • Wait a second Chico!

Jindal is not America's brightest. He could be ONE OF the brighest in GOP at the moment. Also, don't say what he would draw in terms of int'l support....it's very speculative. So don't get too excited.

More over, we have given Obama the chance, so lets see if he could fix this economy with his magic stick???? I got my doubts....

IMO, Jindal's a good apple on damaged tree.

  • Jindal isn't the brightest? Name another Senator or Governor with his academic achievements. All this by age 36. Indian-Americans and Asian Americans in general pride themselves on being the most academically competitive demographic in America. You won't find a group with more drive in that regard. Neither party represents Indians. Dems are worse than the Repubs with their bogus tax increases and selective Affirmative action. If Dems don't change that they will lose Asian support.

  • Who gives a flying fuck about how well he did in undergrad?? That doesn't have shyt to do with being an American. This is almost as big a disgrace as Schwarzenagger.

  • Jindal can cause a paradigm shift in the perception of Republicans if the GOP is wise enough to nominate him. As you can see from the video above India will be loudly backing Bobby Jindal. There is no doubt about that. It's a national pride issue in India. If Jindal is the nominee expect to see the internet flooded with his supporters. He would also be the first Catholic president since JFK. That will bring Latin American, Vatican, and other Catholic support from across the world.

  • I appreciate ur passion of an idea where GOP picking Jindal for 2012. The BIG but is if GOP is wise enough. Today, GOP is going thru a serious introspection. Nobody knows their future. Also, just because Jindal has sound academic background should not mean he's the best man for the job of highest office in US.

Again, ur theory of all around support for Jindal is flawed. Support from India, Latin America, Vatican mean horseshit in picking a president for United States.

  • Actually international support means a lot when you consider that primary media dissemination has now moved online. This means that those that are logged on to the internet and where populations are large will have a significant impact on American politics. This is the new globalization. As for the US, the Vatican and Catholics means a large vote bank, especially in the west. No one has been able to fully harness it since JFK. Jindal would be only the second Catholic since that time.

  • GLOBALIZATION & US PRESIDENTIAL ELECTIONS?...C'mone!

First of all, there is no co-relation b/ween globalization and US election 4 president.

Secondly, WHAT IS GLOBALIZATION? I think you just attended a class on globalizations. Thats' something they teach you in school, right!

Let me ask you something. 2/3rd of the World population live below poverty line and you call it globalization???

Also, don't U compare anyone w/JFK just b'cos some one is catholic. There's only one JFK.

  • Reread my post. I guess you didn't know that there were foreigners campaigning online and through VOIP this year.

Who said anything about poverty? This has nothing to do with that. Anyone with an internet connection and a PC can get involved. This number is growing rapidly in the developing world. And yes, poor people are often the the ones with the most pride.

Are you implying that a colored person couldn't be better than JFK? Actually Jindal is a much better moral practicing Catholic.

  • C'mon man... JFK was a great president and a good american... If someone like Bobby Jindal is trying to be like him (or is thought of to be) then what is wrong in that... I personally am not a Rebulican supporter other than for the change agent presidents like JFK, etc.... Even though I dont support Bobby Jindal, I dont think that he is wrong in trying to go for his dream...

  • @gurdaspurikahlon jfk was a great president, except for the millions of vietnamese he slaughtered. the u.s. dropped more bombs on viet nam than all of world war 2 combined. i would not expect you to know that.

  • WTF are you smoking?? An American is supposed to make decisions for his country based on what someone likes or dislikes halfway down the world?? Listen to how idiotic you sound. Does the president of the UK or Italy or Japan make decisions based on what some fools in South American think??

  • And this doesn't even begin to address Asians and other socially conservative minority groups that have been hesitant to vote for the GOP due to their less ethnic inclusive image. Jindal changes that in an instant. This would be a fundamental change for the GOP and drastic shift in various alliances in favor of the GOP. Primarily social and fiscal conservative minority groups. Many moderates will also find this new inclusive GOP appealing. Once again, this is an IF.

  • You are wrong when you try to put Asians in 'socially conservative' column. Most of the Asians I know are very socially progressive. Which part of US you live in?

And lets' not talk about GOP's present state of mind. They are so fu*ked-up they don't even know what they stand for. I could write three thesis on them today and that won't even be a small drop in Ocean.

  • You must not know many Asians. I think you might have interacted with the few exceptions of the Asian community. Most Asians are very strong family social conservatives regardless of religion or country of origin. This is true all across America. If you follow Asian American newspapers or are part of Asian community organizations you would see this. This is true from San Francisco, LA,to New York. There may be no community as fiercely and unapologetically traditional as Asians.

  • By the way, these labels like "liberal", "progressive" or "conservative" mean close to nothing to the Asian community. The two topmost government related concerns for Asians are taxes and ethnic inclusiveness in society. The Dems used to have the upper hand on the latter, but if Jindal is the nominee, that argument is a non-factor. Which leaves taxes..... A GOP strength.

  • @LatinoIndiano Speak for yourself, we always vote Liberal in Canada, and we'd vote Democrat for sure in America considering how crazy their right wing really is.

  • In terms of qualifications, you should read his full resume. He has the most stellar background I've ever seen for a public servant. If you consider that Obama had one of the thinnest resumes in modern history, we realize legislative accomplishments matter little. It is generally the potential of the candidate that voters have sought. This places Jindal at the most favorable position amongst his colleagues.

  • I don't give a fuk what his background is. WTF does he know about America? He just got off the GD boat. Listen to the people on this clip....He's an Indian, he's from India......WTF does this fool have business doing with American anything?? Are these fools in LA crazy?? I swear this disgraceful shyt will come to an end.

  • Another tid bit: This year saw the first time that the internet was used to make campaign calls. This invited for the first time, some people from abroad that made calls. If Jindal reaches out to Asia and Latin America for their support, he would without a doubt have literally millions of his supporters blogging and making calls for him. All he has to do is tap the pride that these people are already feeling for him.

  • Listen, America does not give a flying fuck about what the rest of the world thinks or does. If the republicans are so weak and pathetic that the only thing they can come up with is this farce then they can sink in that boat. Obama's only a half-step better, just barely. And all you other fools who have NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS COUNTRY, who just got off the GD boat or crawled under a GD fence should just STFU and be grateful you're here.

  • Geez people, he isn't Indian. He's an American- born and raised in Louisiana.

  • well he is of indian descent, but i understand what you are getting at. but when you are the children of immigrants, in reality your growing up in two cultures. but thats also true of all ethnic immigrant groups in america, from the irish down to the italians. perfect example, martin scorsece or nancy pelosi.

  • @jkcwebs how can he not be Indian

he is born to parents born in India and immigrated to US later bcoz of the parents he is Indian. Yes he is an American citizen but with indian roots. refer to wikipedia where it says his name was Piyush Jindal (Indian name piyush is common)

  • @jkcwebs I know, he acts and sounds American, he pretty much renounces his Indian roots and he's a governor- why can't we just look past skin color already? Minorities don't always automatically have to be liberal...

  • @jkcwebs LOL. as an indian american born here-its undeniable that he is indian....

  • Thanks for this video of Piyush "Bobby" Jindal!
