The UN said a pause in the fighting was required before when there was 200,000 civilians in the NFZ. Then the Sri Lankan army rescued over a hundred thousand, so why ask to stop again. Just trust the Sri Lankan Government to do the job and finish off the terrorists! Surely it's not the business of the UN or anybody else to doubt the Government of Sri Lanka.
