Yes, attack on aromatic reactions will proceed.
Complete mineralization to CO2 , NO3, SO4, can occur.
Some dyes ( ex malanchite green) require the addition of a phenol or quinone for 2-3 hr. reaction.

Hello professor , I am student of chemical engineering and am researching the photo-fenton. More stable structures such as benzene rings are degraded too?
