I just did this dinner cruise last year in the beginning of the summer with my Gradparents, Parents and brother. We loved it and wanted to visit Charity Island again, so this summer we visited the cabin there and stayed for three days. We loved it yet again. One day we visited the lighthouse and the next day we went around the whole island. We also fished. We plan to visit Charity island every year and stay in the cabin. It will be easy beacause my Grandparents live right by northport marina.
This is a WONDERFUL way to spend an afternoon and evening! A fascinating mini-adventure with gracious hosts and crew. The food was excellent, the ambiance is charming, and the scenery is pure Michigan. The only thing missing was Gilligan and his group of castaways. 5 starsin a four star rating system !!!
i haven't been out that way in a good while, but when did all this go in? I remember the channel being there for a while, but not the resort thing

I lived in Au Gres for 13 years. Less than a mile away from northport marine where this boat leaves from. I do miss the beauty, but not the economy.

That is what I love about the State of Michigan. Every year live here, there is just more to discover!
