I'm a mom, my kid has played baseball since he was 8. He's 14 now, and I 've seen bad parents and bad coaches. My kid is an amazing hitter. One coach told this kid to not only walk my kid, but to hit him. The umpire noticed this too, and warned the coach. Fortunately, my kid hit a tripple. The coach almost made his pitcher cry. I've seen parents run out to the field, make fools of themselves, embarass their kids, and get warned by the umps. It gets pathetic, and this is only rec, youth baseball!
