  • Hey man awesome sound, i got a 2005 Ford GT-P, any advice for a good setup for exhausts...I got a Twin 2.5 inch Stainless Steel Straight Flow Genie system at the moment...looking for a less droney sound...Cheers

  • Thanks....

I'd recommend finding a reputable exhaust/tuning shop to see what they can do...

The centre muffler is a straight-through design while the rear mufflers are slightly longer to cut out drone with the autos.

I'm considering trying a 2.25" setup after the centre muffler to see if it will sound any better actually!

The cats (200cpsi) make a noticeable difference to the sound aswell.

Cheers and best of luck mate.

  • How much did the system set you back?

  • Hi mate, the whole system (mild steel) cost me about $3k.

  • Sounds excellent! Has a proper V8 growl and crackle.

  • Thanks... yep I'm Bent8 on the AFF.

  • nice sounding exhaust mate. What setup/brands are u running?

  • Cheers buddy, she's got Pacemaker headers/hi-flow cats with an APC designed dual 2.5" system with quad exits.

  • nice your on Ford forums right?
