I was stationed aboard the USS Kansas City (AOR 3) out of Naval Air Station Alameda, California when our ship was on westpac 1981-82 and 1982-83. I enjoyed the friendly people of Olongapo, but it was sad to see some much poverty and abandon children by many servicemen.

wow Olongapo doesnt look like anything from the 80s nothing ,, I remember some of the buidlings and shit river,, but it looks totally different,, thanks for the video,, alot cleaner place than I remember,,

Olongapo looks nicer now but in my time in the 80's/90's is a lot more exciting.American citizen ako pero lumaki ako diyan.Kabataan ko sa Cabalan,school sa forestry.tapos elem-sa Tapinac, first year lang High school sa Kalalake tapos lumipat na ako dito sa boring California.Naging batang gala ako sa Magsaysay tapos naging kaibigan ko ang mga batang mandurukot,the best friends i've had till to this day,walang compara.Naging siga ako diyan, ginulpe namin ang mga AKRHOgang bago ako umalis, watalife
