only reason i dont like jeff gordon is because whenever i talk to someone who doesn't know a lot about nascar the person always brings up jeff gordon. jeff gordon is a fan boy
@Rainbowarriors24 That reminds me of when I went to my first NASCAR race (2009 Lenox Tools 301 at New Hampshire) and Joey Logano won by strategy, beating Jeff Gordon. I was upset that Gordon didn't win, but it was nice seeing a rookie in victory lane.
@Rainbowarriors24 It's a fluke that he didn't win in '08 and '10 'cause there were 3 races in '08 Jeff should've won: Martinsville, Talladega, and Daytona, and there were IDK how many in '10: Vegas, Martinsville, Pheonix, Texas, 'Dega, Daytona, I could go on forever.
@nascarfanatic2425 That is soooo true. Don't forget the 2008 Daytona 500. He had a top 3 car all day till he had suspension problems late. He also should have won the fall race @ charlotte in 2008 if Steve didn't mess up with the pit strategy late in that one.
@mofoprada His car was AWESOME in the 500 in 08. I really wish his suspension hadn't given out, 'cause he would've won the 50th running of the Daytona 500. IDK if he had a shot in the 08 race in Charlotte, but he's well over-due for wins. He should've won the past two straight, but NASCAR screwed him over with the pit road speed and the caution.
@nascarfanatic2425 I agree. He was one of the top contenders in the 2008 Daytona 500. IDK if he would have won it, but if the suspension had not given out he would have had a great shot at it.
@mofoprada Exactly. Had they not thrown the caution at Indy, Jeff would've won the Brickyard 400 this year. Had it not been for the rain, Jeff probably would've won Pocono. If it wasn't for NASCAR, Jeff would've had a top-10 finish at the Glen. Had they not thrown the caution at Michigan, Jeff would've won then. Had NASCAR not been so hypocritical about the pit road speed, Jeff would've won at Bristol. NASCAR's kept Jeff from competing in the Sprint Summer Showdown, and now the #1 seed.
@nascarfanatic2425 Jeff has had the worst luck towards the end of races in the last 3 or 4 years. Look at last year. He had races at Martinsville, Texas, Richmond, Pocono won. And just stupid cautions screwed him. Look at the last 6 races this year. He could have won 4 of the last 6 races at Loudon, Indy, Michigan and Bristol but stupid shit keeps happening to him. If it's not bad batteries, then its a fuel mileage race, or nascar messes up with cautions or leaves loophole on pit road.
@nascarfanatic2425 This kinda stuff doesn't happen to Jimmie or Kyle when they are dominating a race. Nascar just lets the last 200 laps of the race run caution free. But when Jeff is dominating a race (for example: richmond last year) they throw a dumb caution (usually for mysterious debris) and they kill Jeff's chances of winning. If it weren't for all the bad luck that Jeff has had in the last 3 years or so, Jeff should be over 90 wins, not being stuck on 84.
Dale Earnhardt Sr. went winless before and Richard Petty went 8 consecutive years without a win. Jeff is one of the best drivers in nascar. It's almost impossible to go your entire career without a winless season. Just because he had a winless season... that doesn't mean he sucks. Your looking at a driver that won 33 races in 3 years before. If that means he sucks... then I"d like to see a good driver. I guess there isn't one
When YOUR driver gets 81 wins and 4 championships then come talk to me buddy so dont even get me started just because he had one off year that really isnt considered bad anyways.
Well ive seen jeff gordon do things that only one other person has done that was dale earnhardt. i remember chicago 2004 jeff drove a car for 3 quarters of the race with a broke trackbar mount they fixed it and he flew threw the field and finshed 4th. If thats overrated then the whole damn sport is overrated. Do your research before you make stupid fucking comments!
You wanna know overrated, then start thinking about Dale Jr. Yes, he has skill, but people treat him like he's the best thing to ever come to NASCAR. NO SIR!!! Jeff has 82 wins and 4 championships. I'll bet you every other driver wishes they could do all of that. Well, Dale Sr. and Richard Petty have won more, but there's only 1 of each of them, and their time's past.
retardobull and kenseth you are both dum. dont be mad that your driver is travis kvapil and you are afraid to wear a 28 hat and shirt because people will laugh at you!! Jeff is on of the best of all time and every driver has a year when they dont win. jeff is and will always be competitive in nascar. not to mention jeff is 6th on the all time win list and only needs 3 more wins to become 3rd on that list no other driver active today has more wins or championships so both of yall our just haters!
i completely agree with you, plus nearly every driver in the cup series has had a winless year, plus last year kenseth and harvick went winless, Jr. got a fuel win, and Stewart only won because NASCAR makes horrible desicions.
hihellohi123456789, I agree completely on what you said about Jr. and Tony. Now don't get me wrong, I like both of them now, but Jr.'s flat out overrated. And Tony, yes, his only win came from NASCAR being idiots, but you know, he was kinda robbed at Lowe's in the 600 when he blew a tire, so maybe '08 shouldn't have been a Stewart winless season, after all. Jeff's awesome, though, and nobody can argue with that.
Man I hope Sunday is our day and this was a good start. Jeff was so excitied over the radio after the run and boy that has me wanting to turn the time forward to raceday!
only reason i dont like jeff gordon is because whenever i talk to someone who doesn't know a lot about nascar the person always brings up jeff gordon. jeff gordon is a fan boy

@nascarfanatic2425 I mostly agree. Not with everything, but most. With the way they have been running, the 24 team will win the title this year.

I never get tired of watching this! (Or any of Jeff Gordon's videos)
QUICK FACTS:
1. Gordon has started and finished in the Top-10 at Martinsville in the last 8 races
2. Gordon has finished in the Top-10 in the last 14 races, 12 of those are Top-5's.
3. He has finished outside of the Top-12 only 3 times.
4. 7 wins. 9 poles, 22 Top-5's, 28 Top 10's and 2,794 laps led at Martinsville.
And guess what else? Gordon finished in the top-5 in all three practice sessions this weekend.
