when I was little I never thought of them as hideous, instead I thought they were sacred because I've heard of them being the protectors of Egypts ancient tombs or something. instead of wanting fluffy kitty i wanted a bald one haha.

They never protected the ancient tombs of Egypt. This breed originated in Canada. It was a genetic defect and some idiot decided to breed the freak cat it had and lo and behold, this bald ugly thing is now a designer cat. I have no idea why people would breed what is a genetic defect. It is basically the same as breeding albino humans on purpose because they look cool. This is the ugliest breed of cat ever and freaks of nature.
