I've never done this before but wouldn't the pegboard melt from the iron? And also if you're trying to make something that's bigger than your pegboard, instead of buying more pegboards, can't you just lay out part of it, iron it, move the finished part to the edge of the pegboard then continue adding and ironing more beads? Or do the beads warp too much from the ironing to be set back onto the board? Sorry but I'm new to this.

They also sell perler beads at Ikea, they are known as Pyssla beads. At Toys R us they sell it as Pearls or Beads. For Ikea and Toys R Us, the boards are sold separately.

Because I've only seen the beads being sold but never the boards. Also, how would one put a keychain on one of these? I'm mainly a digital artist and make stuff with polymer clay but I'd like to try out some perler beads of my own sprites.

@KitsuneFireheart Sometimes you can buy a set with pegboards and beads, but those can come with crazy shapes - like bears, horses, and cupcakes. Craft stores sell the big tubs of beads I showed as well as packs of geometric pegboards. If you can't find any, check Ebay or the Perler Bead website. You could stick a jumpring or keyring through a space (either by leaving one bead out of the design, or making a hole).

i know that you made this quite a while ago (because it says its from 2010) but if you still have your creations i'm sure many people (including me) would like to buy one if you put smaller creations on jewelry (like a necklace of bracelet made out of chain or ribbon) what you you can do is stick a jump-ring or something though one of the already ironed beads (because there is still a little hole) or when you make it skip a bead so there is a hole at the top the design before you iron it. :D
