  • This isn't just a render generation.....

    /watch?v=8scHKFwr0og

  • Is there any programs to make audio for these?

  • i'm fairly sure i saw a wine ad with the fluid flowing into the glass exactly like that, probably used the same plugin.

  • An amazing Computer can record it better, can't it?

  • For future reference know that glass always has a very slight color tint to it. Like a hint of green or aqua color.

  • How fast would this render on a 3.5GHz 6 core processor?

  • @dmengeler

Probably be a few hours for rendering and the same for simulation.

  • @strag1 Awesome. Wish I knew how to do this stuff.

  • fake! it's real.haha

  • it sucks that you have to render for hours! :(

  • Very nice!

  • waht pc you need to do something like this?

  • @metallPAUL

If you are patient it's possible on an old PC.

Mine is about 7 years old now! On a new PC it would probably simulate in a few hours whereas it took days on mine, basic rule...more processor speed less waiting :)

  • @strag1 Wrong! Processor clock frequency, not speed, as it is called, has nothing to do with the actual performance. What counts is how fast the memory chunks can be buffered(Allocated), and how fast Binary can be processed by the Processor, dependent on a lot of factors!

  • @metallPAUL Not an extremely powerful PC to render it - although I doubt we'll be seeing this rendered in real-time for quite some time.

  • I hate when people dislike videos like this. I mean, the amount of effort put into something like this is seriously astonishing. How can you not appreciate it?

  • I'm going to be rendering a few of these tonight, down my virtual throat.

  • reminds me of 2 girls 1 cup....

  • @randomstuff787 how?

  • @xrayfishx nevermind.

  • Stella artois?

  • dude you should totally sell this to some beer company.

  • Skol, Prost, And Cheers to all good job mate.

  • How come these simulations never show the liquid settling?

  • this is real

  • cheers :D

  • reminds me some beer commercial... nice made

  • @strag1

I you don't mind, may I know the FPS output, MIN substeps, MAX substeps RealFlow settings you used for this simulation?

  • This is not just wine... this is crisp, 2005, full bodied M&S wine....

  • Sometimes i think that the Real Life is rendered too, and the Big Bang was God's Computer exploding

  • This video totaly gave me a boner...

  • Ive seen many of those Realflow Videos, but this one kicks ass!

  • I thought it was real!!

  • very nice

What was that thought? ocean shader? Mental ray preset? please let me know

  • It's really cool!

how you made it in slow motion? By increasing the frame rate in Realflow?

  • Stay thirsty my friends :P

  • How long did it take to render?

  • i watch the most random stuff on youtube ....i don't even know how i got here lol

  • So this is how they do beer commercials.

  • this makes me thirsty. very nice animation. did you render in vray?

  • @rmordica

Thank you, it was rendered in Studio Max using Mental Ray.

  • render is too short!!! looks nice though

  • its been rendering even before the earth was created... unlike chuck norris... omg

  • @sindre360 By loving Pepsi! =D

  • what drink is this? :P

  • "there is a california wine by paul masson"

  • Really nice sim and render, one of the better one's around.

  • @fatqwert 200

Yes.....not unlike a smattering of excrement....indeed one could be forgiven for the correlation between my work of 3d computer animation and a convocation of testicles. By the way, I wish you all the best with your calculus.

  • Why not just film something like this and claim that you rendered it? ;D

  • if thats not real.....i dont know whats real anymore ._.

  • You sure thats not real ?

  • Brb getting some coke ;)

  • Quite sure I saw this on a wine advert :S

  • i rly thought it was real liquid that was being poured til i read the comments. then i noticed how the flow of the liquid right when it was riding on the bottom of the glass didnt seem 'natural'. crazy how it was made tho.

  • Pro.

  • Nice work man!

  • mmmm...

  • Amazing!

    Cheers...mate :3

  • I really like the lighting you used.

  • what.

  • Wow... Wa-ooh!

  • wow that looks great. what did you use?

  • Cheers......It's created with Realflow and Studio Max.

  • Look tasty :P like scotch or coke.

  • Hey nice Render. Whats the settings for the emitter and mesh inside Realflow?

  • Now i finally know how they did the Warsteiner comercial

  • wow- looks great! i really like to see it rendered in real time not in slomo

  • looks like a tv spot ^^

  • Which Kind of shaders/rendering software did you use for this vidéo?

you can answer me in MP if you want

    Thanks

  • Look's Like An M&S Advert, Dine In For Two For Just £10 ;)

  • how long does it take to render such?

  • Dude, you have to sell that to Coca-Cola now! Even I'd drink it, and I hate coke!

  • Cheers mate!

  • @SohnoJam

why do you hate cocke? just wondering

  • @plavins1 Pepsi's better.

  • @plavins1 - Because cola is just not a good flavor. Drinks should be fruit-flavored.

  • is it hard to do it?

    i dont know anything about 3d animations^^

  • Very impressive.

  • can i use realflow in print material ? or does it work only with media animations ?

  • nice

  • super!

  • Looks great!

To bad you havent rendered a full glass.. :(

  • looks like one of them comercials for bacardi or another beer/wine.

  • awesome

  • Hey, cool! ;)

  • Excelente trabajo, en realidad parece un comercial. Yo también hice uno pero con Glu3d.

  • i mean.... it looks so good for realflow

  • that was real flow!? can you share you dynamic specs pretty please with sugar!?

  • how long did it take to render?

  • It took a couple of days but my PC is 4 years old :(

  • wut??? couple of days??? i though that it sumulates more flexibile (like fumeFX) hm... anyway thank you.. i guess i will give it a chance and try some splashes ^_^

  • @strag1 mine is eight,

  • makes me thirsty :) good job!

  • very very smooth its brilliant

  • looks like that beer commercial

  • looks like a beer comercial xD

  • you mean wine commercial, lol

  • i've seen beer comercials like this too xD

  • usually when using realflow u get a circular motion in the glass.

  • fan freaking tastic :D

  • excellent

  • hey, did you buy or torrent realflow?

  • lol nice question right there

  • wow nice

i hope that i could make that one day ;)

  • Hmm reminds me of VSOP Cognac :P

  • that made me thirsty...

  • same XD

  • at first it looks like a transparent turd...

  • this is ridiculously good.

  • its maya. and real flow.

  • that reminds me a TV commercial.

    awesome

  • I thought it was!

  • PERFECT :D

  • What's real flow? I know it's some kind of a 3D simulationg program, but what kind?

  • Comment removed

  • It's a software used to simulate dynamics, water, gas and fire.

  • it's software developed by Nexlimit for simulating liquids.

  • its expensive

  • Real Flow is a 3D simulation program for making fluid simulations.

  • Very nice indeed, Softimage XSI´s Mental Ray Renderer i Presume..?

  • you know what funny about this if we saw a real tv commercial of this we would act like all that's nothing but because it is computer animated were shock by it that just goes to show how we can take little thing for a granted

  • Lol!

    It does!

  • Nice!~~~!!

  • NICE!!!

  • this is not just wine

this is realflow animated, 2 day to render ub3r wine

    this is mns wine

  • AAAAAAAAHAHAHAHA LOL

  • Oh man this is great :) makes me want to drink it !! What was it rendered in ?

  • bahahahah i LOVE that!

    :D

  • AWESOME!! You have the MOST useful realflow simulation in youtube...others seem USELESS! ahahaha nice job with the LOGAN'S feel

  • Simply Perfect.- 5*****

  • I agree... perfect! I sure envy your skills! :)

  • Pck, i gotta get something to drink now.

I think I have some fully rendered particles and meshes in the fridge. Excellent work - I'm just beginning to learn RealFlow - it's not exactly plug and play software - but then again, what 3D software is.

  • Thanks for that...good luck with the Real-flow, unfortunately there are no short cuts, just lots and lots of trial and error.

  • Man, I've been watching this over and over since I recently got into realflow. Do you have any settingtips for how to create water-like particles? Density, Resolution, Viscocity etc?

    Appreciated..

  • tytytr

  • really nice. I dig. I know nothing about real flow though.

  • damn really good 5/5 :D

  • how do we know it's computer generated and not a very fast camera in slow mo...????

  • Thanks for the compliment :)

  • that was so fucking cool lol

  • Fck, i gotta get something to drink now x|

I think i have some ice tea in the fridge.

    5/5

  • Wait a minute... that was computer generated? :D 5/5

  • amazing!! 5/5

  • Thank you.

  • what program?

  • wow

  • wow nice.. looks like a marks and spencers advert :D

  • That's what I was thinking! XD

  • mmmmmmmmmmmmmm

    me like it

  • awesome work.....!

  • Cool

  • one of the best ive seen

  • it's is hard to believe thats animated!

  • OOHH SO THATS HOW THEY MAKE THOSE WINE COMMERCIALS LOL. Or they have a slow-mo camera.

  • Cool- keep going...

  • yeah thats bad ass

  • Thanks mate!

  • nice! :D

  • that was sick. nice job.

  • woo..almost real

  • beautifal...

  • oh yes i use maya and Mental Ray.

What did you use for the liquid? pairticles?

I thought you had the viscosity of the liquid near perfect.

alot of the simualtion's out ther have very heavy liquid.

I also wanted to ask how long was the render time? did you

use global illumination? and/or final gather?

  • There are no easy answers for viscosity etc because it depends on the scale of your scene. I'm afraid it's loads and loads of trial and error (very boring I know) but it is the best way to learn. There was no FG or GI.

  • SORRY i remember know, realflow is a 3D aplication.

  • WOW you need to keep up the great work!!!

    was this MAYA 3D???

  • Thanks for the compliment. The liquid was simulated in Realflow and then rendered using Mental Ray in 3D Studio Max.

  • this is not a real animation

  • ya it is

  • it actually is, it's just really smooth!

  • No refraction, no interaction. Nice? :)

  • Really nice!

  • Hi... How long did this take to render?

    Realflow + 3D application

  • wow nice

  • Nice
