As CornishCreamtea07 pointed out, Sonic came out in 1991 which makes him 18 years old this year. This video is from last year so it was his 17th birthday at the time.

I personally like the old cartoons, all of them are part of what Sonic is now. As for the 4kids voices actor, they do a great job, I kinda like Ryan Drummond and David Humphrey better, but the new ones are not bad
