i watched daniel kick at one of his games, cannon pass is accurate. You need decent biceps to stop the ball from knocking your mouth guard out. This kid is a gun, exactly what the team needs when you have 2 key forwards to kick to.
@camjammel it makes me wonder why, how and on what basis, was watts drafted as number 1, when all the higher drafts are taking the game by the scruff of the neck
@respontaneous at this point in time i would select watts right now. 20 possesions on average in his last 3 games and they are all effective. Where's nic nat at now? Even rich is struggling.
@viccosurfer yeh thats true, nic nat has cox as a mentor and probably the best mentor you could find in the league for his position, rich doesn't really have anyone in brisbane he can relate to, if he was in hawthorn it might have been different, but oh well, i've started watching melbourne a bit more now that they're one of the future star teams, and because Carlton are so frikken disappointing for the past 6 games lol
@respontaneous well true, and his contract was just renewed, but it's not like Rich will get the best tag every week, and black is slowly edging towards retirement year after year, not like i want to see him leave though, i would think power, as a footballer would be more suited for rich seeing how well he feeds, but that's just my opinion.
The thing that really stands out to me is how often you read things like "Brown was narrowly beaten by rich to send a text to fev when he joined the club", and how when he's on the ground you can guarantee he's the first to congratulate a teammate for a goal. Then you see how he brushed the doc away against Port. This kid is really special.
I love watching this guys. He plays better than a lot of fifty gamers and he has only played nineteen! He is already one of my favourite players, him and Jonathan Brown
my old man and others keep comparing him to voss, Matthews and most of the stars, but i say to them, no, he is Daniel rich, and others will be compared to him one day, he is a born champion
