I have hunted for years, and I love it! But in my opinion this isn't hunting. Having three men hold down a boar while you stab it, where's the challenge (or the fun) in that? For me the most satisfying hunts are where I see a buck on my trailcam, and finally get him after all the hard work and prep. I know this gets meat on the table but to me this is hunting at its lowest form"

@freemanbrook Of course they would eat it but it's not out of necessity. They could easily survive even if they couldn't catch a thing.. So I'd have to conclude it is largely for sport.. Pot bellies as evidence. I agree with the boars needing to die and Humans actually had to expend a significant amt of calories to hunt back then... @nephu2 No, not a paid hunt. We drive 16 hours and do this once a year. We only hunt all together with the dogs. Otherwise we spread out and walk thousands of acres looking for them and shoot them with rifles or shotguns.
