WHY THE FUCK DOES THE FREQUENCY GO BACK TO THE DEFAULT ONE EVERY TIME I TURN MY CAR OFF AND ON. FUCK. AND WHY DOESN'T MY GPS APP WORK ON WHILE IN THE HOLSTER AND CONNECTED TO THE DOCK. AND WHY DA FUCK DOESN'T IT TURN HORIZONTALLY. WORST PURCHASE EVER MADE. EVER. DO NOT BUY THIS.
This thing resets to 88.1 every time the power goes off to the unit. In my car, the lighter / power sources goes off when the car stops. So, I have to re-program it every time I get in my car. Sorry, won't be doing that. This is useless. Do not buy this unit unless you want to have to re-set it every time. Serously, how hard could it be to make it remember a station?
Hey, my transmitter doesn't work the docking cable, i only hear static and the charging doesn't work either. The charging works with seprate cable and the music works with little aux cable. HELP ME HERE!
SHIT!! ALLKIT packaging claims "It is compatible with every car in the world", well i have a 2000 chevy silverado that I cant even get the plug into the 12v power jack because of ALLKITS stupid "goose-pipe" design
is the audio cord long enough to reach the jack on an ipod 8gb 3rd gen? (the socket is located on the bottom right on my ipod). ive read alot of similar items that work on all ipod models EXCEPT the ipod 8gb 3rd gen is why i ask. thanks
If it really works on Ipod nano5g, if you put the iPod nano video, would clip/holders from the sides hold the ipod nano? because the ipod nano's width is not that big compared to the ipod touch or iphone. and lastly, if I wanted to take the fm transmitter at home and listen to it on the stereo and not the car would it work? or do I have to plug it in the car for the fm transmitter to work? if you could answer my questions thank you in advance...I'm about to buy this product...
In order to use the hands-free feature, you must use the included 3.55mm audio cable. So if you have your iPhone and your transmitter set up so that it is only using the attached iPod Dock cable then you must ALSO attach the 3.55mm. FYI you don't necessarily have to connect the dock connector, unless you are charging at the same time. Let us know if that helps you.
@handhelditems I have connect the audio cable at the top of the iphone and gadget. and also the dock thing on the gadget to the iphone at the bottom, but when someone rings still no sound through car speakers? and its same frequency?
Give this a try, First unplug everything, then you want to connect the dock connector to your phone first. Once you have that done, connect the 3.5mm cord into the top of the phone and the device. Now try transmitting music. If you hear the music playing it means the device should be working fine; you would want someone to test call your phone to see if it is working alright.
I noticed a bug with the transmitter, if i were to plug the dock cable after i have everything connected, there is no sound whatsoever, but if i were to unplug the 3.5mm cable and plug it back in, my audio comes back on. Please give this a try and let us know if you are still running into problems.
all you need to do is plug in the audio cable(included) into your Zune HD's headphone jack and plug the other end of the audio cable into the left side of the ALL KIT and it will work. hope this helps

@Barajas2119
It just changes the radio frequencies, in my opinion i would just get the one w/o the control, its pretty useless.
