  • heh, Dyna. Even though I know this is months old and you are likely far better by now. Challenge mode isn't for learning matchups or anything like that, just to teach you some basic combos. I didn't use challenge mode to learn combos though, I watched japanese videos from jourdal, if you really want to get good you should do the same. Or atleast go on Dustloop xD

  • @StarofRiley

I understand, thanks for your advice =)

  • Not bad. Your Hazama needs work, yes, but you did pretty well. Try not to be close to Makoto seein' how she excels in close range combat. Stay back; throw chains till you get a hit, then go from there. We should play sometime, but Hazama mirrors are a pain.

  • @DarkSolandLuna

Thanks, but I'm just starting. I have roughly weeks with the game and I barely play.

My style is also very aggressive, I don't like to turtle that much with Hazama, so I just use the chains for "tricky" stuff.

  • lol get perfected.

also, maybe you learn better from real matches because it literally takes FOREVER to learn this game on your own. I played the game for a month. before I realised that this game is so complecated that the tutorial explains everythign you need to know about the game, and all the stuff I learned in that month. in about half an hour.

  • @daKIDgamer

I got explained the system and such, and I understand it and it's not so-complicated, I'm used to Fighting games but I am unwilling to play "challenge mode" because just doesn't stick in my memory. Real matches forges my style and forces me to learn match ups and to create a meta-game.

  • yep, you learn more quickly in matches ubt some challenges teach you specific timings for some followups =)

  • Is this Guilty gear?

  • @BikouTenma

No, it's a spiritual successor called "BlazBlue".

  • And also, I don't see why you don't do the training. It just helps you learn some of his basic combos. It's still up to you to figure out when to use them and when they're open. D:

  • Oh. And down+C in mid-air works better then C in midair most of the time xD;

  • @SeraphArc I'll try.

  • @SeraphArc

Because I feel like everybody else, doing training, I feel more confident with real matches, figuring out attacks, buttons and basics, I also learn better and memorize better that way.

Training just don't stick in my memory.

  • :D Hazama. Mah favourite
