I hated that in college too. Memorizing formulas is kind of a waste of time... knowing what the formulas mean is what is really important.

Try the Financial Analysis video also. On the spreadsheets try changing the numbers to see the effect on the ratios, horizontal and vertical analyses. Try to imaging possible explanations. You are a very motivated student! Good luck!
