she is the enya of africa, her music is soothing with sombre luminosity. it makes you reach inner depths of inaccessible tranquility in your soul and makes you want calm and eternal peace. her music is a gift to humanity, a remedy to the harsh world.

They will say that in the name of colour or of God they killed Corazon - War in the name of which God? War in the name of which colour? War the colour of blood - there is only one colour of blood. There is too much blood they make life a hard thing to bear - only one man's will is enough to bring war - Let them talk - your life leads, son - they will talk and talk - but, Corazon, don't give up, be patient, be smart oh! oh! oh! Iye!Iye!Iye! - don't live in fear of this madness
his world is made up - our world is running mad - the men of this world lie to themselves - they are not gods - they are only human, those malicious men have no compassion at all - they only talk about themselves - the world belongs to them.
if it is God's will they will have to remember you they will give you a voice to take your chance beofre God what will their answer be?
By default, i stumbled upon this video.Iam an indian.Though do not understand the lyrics, iam totally facinated by the voice and the music.Very much like our music. But this is exceptional. So touching and class.
@Kwakirima, I feel you and somehow the fact that the Swahili she sings in is a bit exotic makes it even more magical. The lyrics are really deep and the music arrangement is just great.
SWAHILI is a beautiful LANGUAGE. U don't need to understand it to love this song.
Am Tanzania, so yes i understand it. But am always happy to teach anyone who wants to learn for free. Because it is a language that makes any AFRICAN PROUD. i have Asian friends even white at my school i go, learning few words in swahili. Plus is easy since it use normal alphabets :)
The beauty of music is that you do not have to understand a single word for you to enjoy it. I am form Namibia, my language has no relation whatsoever to Central African Swihili but I understand Khadja Nin as human being, I listen to the song and I just connect with her. Officially the most beautiful song I have ever heard in my 25 years on earth. I would pay a lot to see her perform live. I have had this song for more than 5 years.

Are you sure you undersand the text of all songs you listen to? Words alone are not very important. Music alone is already a language on its own....
