....And what a lot of people don't know is that Proteus went on to find work a bit later on the series "Small Wonder" as Vicki the robot, where unfortunately after that series cancellation she got caught up in the drug and alcohol scene as so many great child actors do, finally admitting defeat, checked herself in to the Betty Ford clinic, got clean, and ironically, is now an ob/gyn nurse at San Diego Memorial Hospital.

That's 1 hour 39 minutes and 40 seconds I'll never get back. I guess this was cutting edge and state of the art back in 1977. But then again wasn't Star Wars? When you compare it to other great movies of the time (like Star Wars) it doesn't seem like such a great film. All in all it was entertaining, but back in the 70's it probably made a much bigger splash. A modernized version might do ok but not fantastic.
