the video quality is bad so its hard to tell, the only difference is that the xbox 360 version is darker and the PS3 version is brighter. But one thing they did have in common was that both players sucked.
@rangerjavi lol too true. My best friend back home has the PS3 version, while I have the 360 version. The PS3 version is slightly better visually, with less lag in ridiculous battles. But unless you have four people firing nukes at each other like pissed off Dear Leaders, or ninja-ing it up with beam swords, the difference is negligible (unless you're a video-phile).

they both have pretty equally rated graphics, but for us blind folk, it seems like the xbox 360 makes stuff WAY too dark alot of the time. and not just in this game. i would play halo 3 more if i didn't run up our electric bill by subconciously turning on every light in the room.
I have played both versions on an HD tv and have to say the PS3 tends to give a more fog of war look while the 360 looks a bit more rusty and beaten up, so it's up to you what you want really, the game is still awesome no matter what you play it on though n_n

you can change the contrast of the tv if you want to for the xbox360. xbox 360 also seems to have much less lag in singleplayer mode. but the ps3 still has better lighting nonetheless. Only flaw with the PS3 is the lag
when your at mission select screen, if you have beatten the game then all you have to do is press x, if you haven't beatnen the game use your right and lefter bumpers to scroon to the mission you want then press x
PS3 seems to have marginally better graphics while the 360 seems to have better colour definition. I much prefer the PS3 lighting effects and graphic detail over the 360 according to this video. Too bad AC4 was kinda a let down overall.
No, PS3 offers high resolution giving a illusion of a change in brightness, when it is really many different shades of whites and blues, depending on booster color as an example. AC4 could have looked way better on PS3 if the developers were more familiar with the hardware.

Ok. I can barely see a difference between both consoles, except for the lighting (which can be adjusted on both consoles). So, I don't see how one side can think it's ultimately superior to the other.
Yea, both consoles are a bit different, but graphics wise, not so much.
If you notice when you look at a screenshot comparison, the attention to detail is better on the Xbox 360, but yes, the lighting is better on the PS3 version.

tell me about it, i recently bought an SNES and i love it, with the whole world all hopped up on HD its nice to play on one of the older consoles and remember how fun they were.
Ristar on the Mega Drive is THE best game ever, is just brilliant
to be honest, it all boils down to which online mode has more players, at the least for me.
personally, I prefer the 360's visuals, but most people seem to play on the PS3 since one, the online is free as opposed to Live Gold, and two, the controller is familiar.
PS3 looks much better in this game but thats coz it seems the people that made this video personaly prefer PS3 because that is not what it looks like on xbox 360! get whichever console u prefer, i prefer Xbox coz i has good games! but some people care way to much about graphics so they choose a less fun console. but thats just my opinion.
The guy running the 360 needs to turn the brightness up just a hair. Its not that dark.. thats unplayably dark. Other than that, they are identical. Get what system pleases you more.
i'm all systems go. he ps3 has free online and doesn't have red rings but the 360's online is honestly better. the wii is just friggin sweet but some of it's titles are a bit to young for me, albeit still fun! all of them have streangth and weaknessess. just get the one that feels right. or all of them like me.
the only reason that 360's are getting sent back because the graphics are so good even for the system and have money to repair it. but ps3 lowered the graphics so there can be none sent back and not waste money so 360 rocks!!!
Well yeah 360 has a better list but some of them really suck IMO. Ps3 is good online. If you can play a game online, for 30 days and have less than 12 lag/disconnection issues than it wouldn't be considerded that bad. Actually I played CoD4 on Ps3 and I had those situations but less than 10 TIMES.
its all up to you, and what u wannna do with ur sys if u wanna have huge online battles with ur friends with super great graphics and shit go with the 360
if u just want an entertainment center that can play blu ray DVDs, and have some bomb ass games on the side i say go with the ps3

ac4 laggs a lil on ps3....360 NEVER laggs. although it is a bit darker...but u can make it brighter THAN ps3 on the settings when u start out. but too bright is bad on desert missions.

ppl listen: its the same game. ive played them both. if hooked up to the same tv w/ the same settings, there will be no difference except that ps3 runs a bit smoother cause the ps3's parts are better then the 360's.
probably because the games original core programing runs off of ps2. its a native game to play station. as to wether the game is customized to abuse the hardware differences looks false.
so it could either be ps3 really does run better, or it runs better because the game based off of 5 years of ps1-ps2 native programing experience.

Btw I was SUPPOSE to get a PS3 yesterday.. but I got a 360 (god... PS3 AC4 has smoother textures, if you look closely. And also about the dark/brightness comparison between the two systems, you cannot judge by that because they were obviously played on different video settings.

Personally i think that 360 has more quality with graphics and effects, but Ps3 looks better to play, not because at 1:50 u can't see anything on the 360, i mean u can turn ure brightness up. but at the end when ure under the glass roof. Xbox 360 looks dark with light coming through the windows But its a little hard to see the Ac's clearly, Ps3 has all round light coming from nowhere, looks a little gray as well, but u can see the Ac's a hell of a lot clearer, so it depends on ure preference,
For all of the PS3 fanboys out there, the Xbox 360 version I think is darker so that it can show it's powerful lighting effects, and show real-time lighting as it would be, not just a big ambient white light to light up everything....
Then again, most likely it's the recorder causing the lighting problems, so don't judge until it's been played by YOU. (Or you watched your friend or whatever.)

Not exactly, lag is when a process freezes for however long and then resumes.
Latency is mainly delay, long distances can be a huge cause of it.
Your computer or console system sends data back and forth from one end to the other, and slow speeds will result in jolting or skipping around.
But you can experience both at the same time, especially on an online game.

PS3 looks softer, brighter asn the ground blends better.
360 is darker and looks like the contrast is higher. It also has less glare/bloom

to be honest, it all boils down to which online mode has more players, at the least for me.
personally, I prefer the 360's visuals, but most people seem to play on the PS3 since one, the online is free as opposed to Live Gold, and two, the controller is familiar.

i'm all systems go. he ps3 has free online and doesn't have red rings but the 360's online is honestly better. the wii is just friggin sweet but some of it's titles are a bit to young for me, albeit still fun! all of them have streangth and weaknessess. just get the one that feels right. or all of them like me.

Well yeah 360 has a better list but some of them really suck IMO. Ps3 is good online. If you can play a game online, for 30 days and have less than 12 lag/disconnection issues than it wouldn't be considerded that bad. Actually I played CoD4 on Ps3 and I had those situations but less than 10 TIMES.

Everyone is going to be biased towards their own system when it's that close of a draw. I agree, developers made this game so you could play it on each system. Not to compare system to system. They're exactly the same. Though I've heard 360 had drawbacks with lag, thats it.

probably because the games original core programing runs off of ps2. its a native game to play station. as to wether the game is customized to abuse the hardware differences looks false.
so it could either be ps3 really does run better, or it runs better because the game based off of 5 years of ps1-ps2 native programing experience.

PS3 AC4 has smoother textures, if you look closely. And also about the dark/brightness comparison between the two systems, you cannot judge by that because they were obviously played on different video settings.

Personally i think that 360 has more quality with graphics and effects, but Ps3 looks better to play, not because at 1:50 u can't see anything on the 360, i mean u can turn ure brightness up. but at the end when ure under the glass roof. Xbox 360 looks dark with light coming through the windows But its a little hard to see the Ac's clearly, Ps3 has all round light coming from nowhere, looks a little gray as well, but u can see the Ac's a hell of a lot clearer, so it depends on ure preference,

For all of the PS3 fanboys out there, the Xbox 360 version I think is darker so that it can show it's powerful lighting effects, and show real-time lighting as it would be, not just a big ambient white light to light up everything....
Then again, most likely it's the recorder causing the lighting problems, so don't judge until it's been played by YOU. (Or you watched your friend or whatever.)
