@sternchensmiler it is. A small piece of trivia fact though. The concept of slayers was borrowed from Kazushi hagiwara who earlier (1988) had created BASTARD!! heavy metal dark fantasy. Hajime Kanzaka the author and creator of Slayers loved the manga so much that he created what is now the slayers universe. BASTARD!! whent on to make an anime but it only was a 6 part mini series as Slayers would end up being more "family friendly" lol enjoy b(^_^)d

i hope they bring out a new season. me personally loved slayers NEXT, the last couple of episodes really were great. slayers TRY was not as good and revolution and evolution-r were alright. really i prefer episodes that heavily focus on Gourry and lina =D

I LOVE Slayers! Gourry and Zelgadiss especially :) Good-looking, strong (and in Gourry's case) dense :) I hope more series come out. That way, should they be dubbed into English, Eric Stuart is forced out of retirement. He wouldn't turn down the chance to voice Gourry... :)

When I first watched the fourth and fifth seasons of Slayers, I hated them for a large variety of reasons. However, now that I've lowered my expectations a lot, I find that when rewatching them they are actually pretty enjoyable. Still quite good, if not anywhere near on the level of the first three. I'm a bit disappointed with how the English voice actors have changed a bit, but what can you expect after eleven years? I'm also gonna miss David Moo for Xellos.

This is Awesome because Megumi is just as old as Madonna, if not Older, her and Aikawa Nanase are some of Jpop's oldest and revolutionary singers.

Also remember, Megumi was titled as the Seiyuu of the 90's Don't underestimate her.

For example, in evo-r number 5, we can see Nama's soul returning to her original body in a oranges' carboard... In fact, it calls from slayers special in which there is a whole history about oranges and Naga....

I've been a die hard slayers fan since I was 13 but i can honestly say with a heavy heart that I was not impressed with the new 2 installments that came around. It was sad, kind of, I was hoping it would be truly epic and redeem Try...but it only made it worse. *sob**

Yes, they are, and most of the English dub cast is back except for David Moo, he's being replaced by Michael Sinterniklass as Xellos. Lisa Ortiz, Eric Stuart, Veronica Taylor and Crispen Freeman are all back as Lina, Gourry, Amelia and Zelgadis.
