  • I'd never used a sewing machine until 2 weeks ago, and I'm dung pretty alright figuring things out - I do, however, get stuck sometimes... As I did today with some gathering. It worked in the end, but now that I saw your video I'm sure it'll be much easier. Thanks for sharing. :)

  • for the first method of showing you showed us with the 2 parallel lines, what are the settings? i know u switch one of them to 9 and one of them to 4, but for my sewing machine, i dont know which one is which.

  • @christieandnick yeah...I have 2, they are the those too, but no numbers on the stitch length. So the "highest" setting for length is, ...tighter, or longer/shorter or wider? :) ...still not clear....and I can't tell on the video. Thanks for answering...just noticed your not "Himehood" :)

    The only question I have is; with the elastic method, how do you stop the needle from snapping? When I have used this method I always break needles. Is this just because my machine is cheap and terrible? :P
