I didn't got it somewhere , it's thought that crossed my mind on one other video where people were debating about silly things like which religion is bad and which isn't. There are no bad religions they are all made with a good intentions guided by desire to understand God. But that is impossible to do, at least not now when our souls/energy are/is trapped in this material world.
We can only partially understand God and only in a case when God speaks to us.
So there aren't good or bad religions there are only some people who can't control their egos well and they use it as any other things in this world to satisfy their desire for power and wealth.
The truth is that war leads to nothing, it has nothing to do with believing in a god.
The song is about how we are all humans, how we share the same things, the same planet, the same hopes and dreams and how religion destroys all of this by making us take sides, believing some of us have the truth and others do not, and vice versa.
This is why its said "war continues on" because for thousands of years, religious conflict in the world and in the middle east primarily are still present.

I'm glad to see that someone understands this.
I didn't got it somewhere , it's thought that crossed my mind on one other video where people were debating about silly things like which religion is bad and which isn't. There are no bad religions they are all made with a good intentions guided by desire to understand God. But that is impossible to do, at least not now when our souls/energy are/is trapped in this material world.

We can only partially understand God and only in a case when God speaks to us.
So there aren't good or bad religions there are only some people who can't control their egos well and they use it as any other things in this world to satisfy their desire for power and wealth.

The truth is that war leads to nothing, it has nothing to do with believing in a god.
The song is about how we are all humans, how we share the same things, the same planet, the same hopes and dreams and how religion destroys all of this by making us take sides, believing some of us have the truth and others do not, and vice versa.
This is why its said "war continues on" because for thousands of years, religious conflict in the world and in the middle east primarily are still present.

I agree with all u said but one thing.
Religion alone by itself doesn't destroy anything, it's some people who do.
Those people running away from truth and they chose 'wars'.
People have freedom of choice and people have power of mind and conscience to make the right or wrong choices.
If u watched movie Kingdom of Heaven you can see that Balian and Patriarch Heraclius are both believers they just make different choices.

In islam war is made in two conditons: first, if in a country islam's spread is banned , muslims should war againts that country. second, if there is a threat to islam countries, war is made. Since Muhammad is such an awesome role model with his killing of Jews, driving out other people from other lands, or forcing them to pay a poll tax to feel themselves subdued. There is little way in which Muslims have any other definition of a "peaceful" Islam. There is only this variation because Muhammads' example is so evil that the religion needs reformation.

Whereas christianity encourages the wholesale slaughter of unarmed women and children just because they belong to a different race and are in the way.

night has a lot of links to darkness and evil and, in literature, the spread of an evil regime is often given a metaphor of the night. I medieval Europe people couldn't just flick a switch and have light, the night was a time of darkness and fear.
Whereas a knight is just a very minor rank of nobility.
