i don't know if the argument is settled or whatever, but it was dubbed :) Mariah could sing her ass off at this time. She had no need to lip. That came around in '97.

That does NOT mean that NONE of the vocals are from the concert. From the MSG version someone claim the entire concert had been dubbed in such a fashion, that all of the original vocals were erased. I disagree.. I have listened to the undubbed versions maaany times, and they sound indentical.

that performance on AI is heavily lip synched. The only performance she did recently that was live was Baby Please Come Home and that wasn't that great in a way.
American Idol, ALL of her recent performances except for the ones of songs she always performs live like I'll be There and Make it Happen, have been partially lipped.
It's harder to tell when you're there and you witness the performance for yourself actually. I may not be able to tell when I see her live, but I can tell when I watch a recorded version.
i believe you are mistaken. How many of her FLAB performances have you seen? I have seen a lot, I daresay all of the ones that were televised. I can hear it just by looking at her or sometimes just listening that she's lipping.

And if I know this, it is because I am a MC lover and I have seen all her performances... not because I am a hater.... i am just a fan that recognizes her good and her bad things...
You have pretty much nothing to support your claim except for the fact that you "heard" her voice singing into the microphone, which is not very probable because AI is a big venue so you could never be sure. Watch every performance of FLAB and you will hear similarities and inconsistencies. You wouldn't even have to look at her like you would usually have to because the prerecorded vocals speak for themselves. Sometimes she tries to make it look like it's live like in the ones you mentioned.
I have years and years of observing her performances. I can just tell when she's lipping and sadly, she has never performed FLAB completely live. All you have is being there, which proves nothing. When you're there, of course it looks like it's live. When you watch it, you'll hear how her prerecorded voice sounds so much different from her live voice. That's probably her most obviously lipped performance and its very strange that you can't recognize that.
This performance was awsome, but it doesn't top the MSG 1995 performance, that one is unparalled

That does NOT mean that NONE of the vocals are from the concert. From the MSG version someone claim the entire concert had been dubbed in such a fashion, that all of the original vocals were erased. I disagree.. I have listened to the undubbed versions maaany times, and they sound indentical.

not here and not MSG are dubbed, I have the DVD and is completely live. There is a big difference when is dubbed and live.
If she sings well is dubbed if she sings bad is dubbed. They should remove her from the music industry, because according to you guys she never sange anything live. What a load of twaddle. Get a life people!! MC Rocks!!

She sang it live, but this performance; the video; is dubbed. She's not even singing at :58-1:00 and her voice is still on the track. It's just dubbed.

... i observed that when she sang this song, she never lip, esp. in her concerts .. like in Adventure of Mimi
... and her voice here in her Daydream concert was powerful, proven in her other performance..

Gosh, the studio version of this song is very powerful, but the way she sings starting at 1:39 til the end is so melodious. God this woman is really miraculous. No one can make a song like this sound so angelic.
Probably her absolute best.

Mariah can still sing take a look at her 2008 performance of fly like a bird on american idol she was phenominal i just think she needs to go into vocal rehab for 6 months i think her true fans would rather her do that than ruin that fantastic voice and she is still the best even if her voice has changed it is still unique and she can still whistle and she can still belt so just stop hating she is the best! that performance on AI is heavily lip synched. The only performance she did recently that was live was Baby Please Come Home and that wasn't that great in a way.

It's harder to tell when you're there and you witness the performance for yourself actually. I may not be able to tell when I see her live, but I can tell when I watch a recorded version.

i believe you are mistaken. How many of her FLAB performances have you seen? I have seen a lot, I daresay all of the ones that were televised. I can hear it just by looking at her or sometimes just listening that she's lipping.

You have pretty much nothing to support your claim except for the fact that you "heard" her voice singing into the microphone, which is not very probable because AI is a big venue so you could never be sure. Watch every performance of FLAB and you will hear similarities and inconsistencies. You wouldn't even have to look at her like you would usually have to because the prerecorded vocals speak for themselves. Sometimes she tries to make it look like it's live like in the ones you mentioned.

I have years and years of observing her performances. I can just tell when she's lipping and sadly, she has never performed FLAB completely live. All you have is being there, which proves nothing. When you're there, of course it looks like it's live. When you watch it, you'll hear how her prerecorded voice sounds so much different from her live voice. That's probably her most obviously lipped performance and its very strange that you can't recognize that.
