  • The Rays did not finish with the best record in baseball dickhead.. That was the Angels. And that "ace" pitcher can be either Kazmir or Garza. And the Rays been around for 12 yrs not 15...damn, do you even watch baseball??

  • not even 15 years boss, but GO RAYS!!!

  • they got 1 more game to win, till the world series

    GO RAYS

  • they are a fluke team and will always be a fluke team. the only reason they r good is because they got the best prospects and now they r using them. thats why they r any good

  • Ummm -- that's how it's supposed to work moron. That's why the draft works the way it does -- so that not the same teams are always winning.

So your statement is actually a contradiction because the whole purpose of drafting good prospects is to become a better (in this case -- best) team.

  • hey dumbass that is kinda how it works when the prospects are ready to play the come up and can drastically help out a team. That is why that last team in the league gets the number one draft pick

  • hehe thire ace pitcher is scott kazmir=)

  • All 5 are aces

  • oh i luren somthing=) thank you

  • we are a new team and have only been around for 10 years and u yankee ans red sox fans keep saying were not good but why are we in first pplace were doing it in a fourth of the payroll and dont say its a fluke cause its not and if u actually go to the home games it is busy there i just went stupid u boston and yankee fans have been around forever and u guys think u r so tough

  • dude the best team in baseball is the angels why well cause they r the only team to have a road record over 500 and they have good pitching i mean look at joe saunders 15-4 this year nobody even new who he was till this year so if u wnna argue that then go ahead

  • now I would agree with you the angles are the best team in baseball... as you will see I amde this video a month ago, at that time it was debateable..

  • We'll see. The Angels are coming to the trop next week, it's going to be a huge series, and we'll have Sonnanstine, Shields, and Garza going. Should be pretty epic.

  • wow......now could all the diehard rays so called fans please tell me how many times u guys were in the playoffs....anyone.....yeah thought so..oh and have u seen how dead the home games are....some fans

  • you r a dumb ass they r a new team to a area that has a bunch of jackoff yankmee & blowhard boston fans. and all ass wipe people that wont support there home team. they are kicking ass with 1/4 of the payroll. so go F yourself.

  • Hey, have you checked the MLB attendance figures lately? Rays are putting out 23,000 a game now, a far cry from the 9-11k from last year. Hey, in their last home series before the road trip, over 140,000 people showed up for a 6 game stand--against Detroit and Cleveland, two teams that aren't high in the standings right now. How many times did the Yankees make the playoffs in their first 10 years? 0? Oh. How about first 20? 0? Oh. Know your own history dipshit

  • ace pitcher.... you mean scott kazmir, james shields or matt garza?

  • Heh. The Tampa Bay Rays were a good 30 games out of contention last year. The fact that they have the best record is purely a fluke. Good effort though!

  • how is it a fluke in late july you idiot.

  • Who would have thought (people outside of the Bay Area) that the Rays would have been doing so well at this point?

  • yea but a week ago you said they were a fluke.

  • wow...just this year wut have they done since....practically nothing!!!!...

  • ...you haven't been watching baseball that long, have you? There's seemingly a surprise upstart team every year. Those teams usually fizzle out come season's end too. Tampa's definitely moving in the right direction, but they're not even the best team in the division let alone the league. They aren't a bunch of no-names, dude. Just because you don't know who they are doesn't make them anonymous to fans of the game.

  • Yes I have been watching baseball quite a long time and yes there useually is a surprise team every year. That surprise team however does not always fizzle out ( take the white sox from a couple years back that one the world sereies). Now for your arguement that the Rays arnt the best team in baseball at the time I made this vids not only did the rays have the best record they also had played the toughst scheduelin baseball.

  • Oh I recall - ever heard of a fluke? They aren't the best team in baseball nor WERE they. They're good - much better than any other year in their history, but not the best.

  • i'm shocked that they're in first place this late in the season. i've got to do some research on their players.

  • and now i just found out that they're on a 7 game losing streak.

  • haha I know of course right when I do a video about them being so good they lose 7 in a row.lol

  • Wow, you really know how to point out the bad things because the Rays really are crap. I'm not even a baseball fan at all but I've heard nasty things from other people about the Rays too.

  • umm actuley I was kind of defending the rays lol..

  • oh well still the rays arent that great in my own opinion but if u like them thats great too

  • kool

  • nice vid i like it

  • the rays are awesome this year there going to win there division

  • yea they are!!

  • your kinda cute.

    ;]

  • thank you

  • what if i leave a comment that you cant really comment back on... like... "cough". wat now?

  • your totally hottttt!

  • thaks

  • your hot

  • nice vid i think their the best too please rember to comment my vids 2

  • For the record...

This is the Rays 11th year, Carl Crawford is in his 6th year of service...

I'm sorry, I had to laugh at that part, but I'm glad you didn't shit on us like a lot of other people still are.

  • haha yea im not the biggest rays fan as you can probley tell..

  • not sure if the rays have a lot of "unknown" players.

bj upton. scott kazmir, iwamura, longoria, were all highly rated prospects and now there in the big leagues playing like there hype was when they were in the minors.

its obvious that nobody expected this but im not surprised its happening

  • haha I guess there just unknown to me..

  • nice vid, btw, the pitcher's name is Scott Kazmir.

  • thanks..
