GREAT show visually, but horrible on the band, theres too many "heros" and they stick out the whole show, either get the whole band playing at that nice full fortissimo and blending in and when theres a stong point THEN stick out, but if not, then get a solo.

Believe it or not, that same year, my school did the same music, North Marion High School in Florida. Though, I can never find any footage. That show almost killed me(meaning I did a chime part in the pit...they fell and took me with them :(, perfectly in-time with the music though :P)

This is a really good show, my band did this theme last year i miss it, even though we didn't pull it off nearly as good as this band. I wish we could do it again even though some tempos were outrageous it was a high energy and fun show. Great Job on this run guys!

we did this show my freshman year 04... and we did a great job... we marched like 150 then and we had balance and perfect tone... we were awesome... the second song is the hardest to play and march... but its doable... we mixed the 3rd and 4th song so it would fit in at halftime and the way did it was awesome!!! i wish i had a way to put the vids on my comp but they are on Hi8 tapes... anyone have any ideas???

thats mt band's show this year. but i think i like our drill better.. we added a lot of dance moves, strike a pose, random things like that and our guard uses OUTRAGEOUSLY huge and long flags!! it is so cool!!! :)

but yours seems pretty cool too.

btw pirates was the best show to ever march. if you were there in person you would have heard the basses a lot better, the people who recorded the show had shitty recording equiptment...we had to slow down some tempos bcuz it was hard as hell to march some of that...it was pointless bcuz we rushed it back to the normal speed in some parts though i will admit that. our drumline was always too loud but we like em loud and apparently the judges did too if they gave us straight superiors.

I can barely hear the basses. (Tubas, Baritones, Trombones, Bari/Tenor saxes, ect) The drumline is also very faint. All I can hear are trumpets. Drill is clean though.

tempo is waaaaay wrong...in many places.....

I like some of the formations....

Balance is nearly nonexistent. I know what doing this show is like, we just did almost to the note, the exact same one (look to my profile for the vid)

precision is also lacking....sorry to be such a pessimist ^^'

I do like most of the variations that are thrown in though :D, adds something to the music...believe me...it gets very repetitive very quickly.
