now i have seen all your videos and loved them. You made them funny, cute and interesting. One thing that made me sad is that you named i think 4 languages you can speak and not one of them was urdu or a native language of Pakistan. it is not my business but i was raised in the US and thank Allah and my parents that i can speak urdu, punjabi and english and also want the same for my son. so it just made me sad to hear.

Hey, yeah I know, I think it's sad too... but thing is that my dad speaks english with his dad and spanish with his mom, and only lived in Pakistan for short whiles when he was little so he doesn't feel as home with urdu as "normal full" pakistanis. So he speaks spanish with me and my mom speaks swedish with me, that's why I've never learn urdu.

Do keep up the effort with your son. I had to make that effort in Spanish instead. Yasmin did buy "Teach yourself Urdu" and learned to read and write Urdu all by herself (I helped a bit). My Urdu would really benefit if I could live in Pakistan for say 6 months or a year and speak it daily.
