  • Man I really want to learn this song- your cover is so good!! :)

  • You sure know how to pick that guitar !

  • Nice, man! It's like a Mississippi John Hurt version! Very cool.

  • Who were the 3 that didn't like it? I'm sure glad I don't have their taste in music.Keep playing' the blues gods are saying' Nice job and thank you for the entertainment.

  • excellent version..well done

  • This is one of the rare times I've seen someone playing ragtime blues where I've felt like I was seeing the real thing. It's like a past forgotten, being brought into the present perfectly preserved. The sound you're making is awesome.

  • Is this the forerunner of "Doo Wah Diddy"?

  • i have forget in my suff *****5

    Rich

  • Phenomenal. Blake Lives.

  • I've spent the whole evening watching blues and ragtime on YouTube and this is the cleanest, most flawlwss performance I've seen! Perhaps not so flamboyant as some, but perfectly executed. I'd kill to be able to do this!

  • Absolutely phenomenal sounds incredible on a Stella too. Can you sing too?

  • A beautiful arrangement, well done!

  • Great! Defined tone in that guitar, really like your playing... Any chance of getting the tab?

  • Thanks..i don't have the tab,i learned it by ear

  • @metonymooo

    Blues in C mainly..

  • Good job! You have a great grasp on this style! I'm jealous!

  • Treeeeeemendous! Blown away by your playing! Do you think is this where the Rev Gary got his inspiration for his version of the Ccandyman tune?

Obviously C-man is slower, but it's that C chord variation thing that the Rev does which is reminiscent of at least one of the riffs in the Blake tune.

The Rev did say he'd never heard anyone play the guitar like Mr Blake.

    Play us another one!

  • 10 times better than my version
