Also, look at the passing trajectory - this 08' gameplay is beautiful still today and the realism is something that still baffles me. EA Sports is literally reinventing a menu system, making it look slick and new and selling it for 60 bucks at a store............. If 2k was producing this kind of code 4 years ago, we should all look at EA and say 'shame on you'. The Madden team is quickly becoming the joke of the industry - they are doing nothing to improve and progress this industry.
The sad thing is that this is 4 year old code and the player models, especially in stride on catches, are at a level of realism that Maddenhas yet to achieve. Madden is so outdated graphically - their models are crap.............. When recievers catch and run, I see calf muscles - I see a cartoon with an exaggerated face that can 'skate' across the field in Madden. et's all pray that 2K gets back in the NFL license.......... Madden is crap. The idea is to improve the game every year WITHOUT TAKING ANYTHING ELSE AWAY. EA always removes some vital part of the game in order to make improvements. Madden is a rip off. Will never buy it again. Last one I bought was Madden 10. I thought Madden 03 and esp 04 where it tracked big hits and you could control your lead blocker was the best. The AI sucks. Failed all around except for minor graphics improvements.

if you take this games detail to physics and put it with madden's presentation and graphics it would make one hell of a game. just watch the blocking, players actually use leverage and hand placement whereas madden is just a bunch of animations.

@blackboyblackboy48 Yeah because it's 2K's fault that they don't have a license to make an NFL game. You act like they don't make football games anymore because they were no good at it. NFL 2K5 is better than Madden 12. EA just puts out the same game every year because they know it will sell, it's the only football game available.

I hope 2k pounces on the NFL rights once EA's contract is over, I'm so sick of Madden, I didn't even buy Madden 12 my friend gave it to me cause he hated it, I tried it out and I hate it. Once the NFL rights are expired the Madden franchise is going to die...

Once EA bought out the rights, Madden producers could basically do whatever they wanted and it WILL sell because its NFL licensed...eventually people will get sick and tired of EA's lack of effort and not buy th
