This is really wonderful. I'm just learning and this has given me something to aspire to. I still can't find the sheet music or a book that includes this ... but I want to learn it ... thank you sooo much!
It is a fantastic version of the Morning Dew. The production with this intro uhh., I can hardly get a word. It is wonderful!!! It makes me so feeling as if I get up after a pleasant night and I open my eyes and I see colourful world and after I wake up totally! aaaand begin the day! :o)
Vraiment génial ! J'habite aux USA, mais j'adore la culture irlandaise :-) Je joue aussi au "tin whistle" depuis plusieurs mois, mais pas du tout à ce niveau !!
oh my GOD.... that is brilliant! i live in america but i am pretty much irish cuz thats the only culture i follow. i spend a lot of time with irish music, and this is amazing! you guys could be huge u know.
Ok, I've spent a LOT of time viewing a LOT of celtic whistle videos here and OMG, this by far rocks. Not just because of the obvious talent/technique but the unique musicality! There's an "it" factor with you that makes you stand out. Please post more!!
It isn't about imitating PJ (tinwhistler). Music isn't about being the same as someone else, or competing. They are both good Irish Whistlers. Music isn't a competition, it is something you can share with others. As peraloar was doing.
Thank you. :) It is quite true, you are right they DO think it is a competition, which is sad. B/c it is going to be hard to simply share music if people get more and more competitive about music.
Exactly, then you get people who play the instrument extremely well on the surface, but the playing has no feeling, and no real depth because it becomes a sport and not music. It happens more with other types of music than with Irish trad. People should really keep competition to competitive and non-subjective things.
Yeah, it is kinda strange to think that we live in totally different countries and watch the same videos. I used to live in Italy when I was younger (for about 3 years) and so me and my family visited Paris while we were there. I loved it. :) I play, or I am learning to play the Tin Whistle.
thank you very much, even if i think it's a little excessive! my name is pierre, i live in Paris and its amusing to know that somebody in United States has seen my vidéo

Hello Guys!
You play very well on whistle, this is a great video, but i think it's too fast. This is a reel, not a machine gun. Play slower a little bit.
But it was really fantastic:)
Torsland 3 years ago
its not to fast. there are a lot of versions of this song so you can play it in diferend styles or speed
angrywolf8 3 years ago
I understand what u say, but i think this speed killing the tune. But he plays very good on the whistle
Torsland 3 years ago
maybe you are right it is very fast.
the version i know from the Chieftains is just a litel bit slower.

I said ;)

One of the smartest things I've heard on all of youtube. Too many kids these days think music is a competition.
