This response is pretty rude. I did not characterize your observations as "intellectual masturbation." You could at least extend the same courtesy to me.
You make my point with your criticisms. Instantiation is, indeed, tangible enactment. I didn't assert that it meant anything otherwise. And, yes, apotheosis is synonymous with deification, which atheism provides a philosophical and conceptual segue for. If you don't believe, read the famous exchange between Bertrand Russell and Father Copleston.
How does that obscure any of the points we've made in our work? The sociopolitical Utopians of the Enlightenment ilk venerate democratism (i.e., plebiscitary democracy). Simultaneously, many of the ideological progenies of the Enligthenment (e.g, neoconservatives) view war as an insturment for democratism's exportation. To be sure, their logic is contradictory, but it is a hallmark of their Weltanschauung nevertheless. Such contradictions are endemic to sociopolitical Utopianism.
For instance, Marxism's empowerment of governmental machinations facilitates the apotheosis of the State. Yet, simultaneously, Marxists contend that, at some indeterminate point in the future, the State will wither away. Obviously, this alleged eventuality has never manifested anywhere that socialism has been instantiated. This is just one example of how sociopolitical Utopianism suffers from logical contradictions.
What point in our work does this observation obscure?
Duly noted. From now on, I will use "worldview," although the original German word encapsulates so much more meaning. It's same with words like Dasein. In English, this word merely means "existence or determinate being." But, in the original German, it connotes a mission, thereby suggesting that life is much more than existence.
At any rate, I'll drop the Weltanschauung from the vernacular.

Why would someone write Weltanschauung when they could just write worldview, like really?
I think its less letters too!
