One has a really petulant voice that sounds like a whining kid and looks like a wanna be douchebag with raccoon eyes. The other is a virtuoso with vocal registers and a beautiful timbre of voice that is nowhere near Mariah Careys, yet closer than anyone else; this one is also the spitting image of a horse.

For me I first heard this song on Leona Lewis's Spirit Album so I'm more familiars with Leona Lewis's version of this song. But Avril's version is super good since she has a very good rock singing voice. So actually I prefer both versions as Leona and Avril have such good different voices. You can't really compete with them 2 I just not right...

Okay soo i give Avril two thumbs up for the amazing lyrics. HOWEVER. Leona puts that POWER into the song that personally gives that "tearjerking" factor, sends them shivers through you while listening. Avril's version is very distinct yes, but she kind of let's out this "i'm just another broken hearted teenage girl" style. Leona's version, even with the same lyrics has a DEEPER feel too it.

First of all, Avril is not better. She merely has a different voice, and your opinions are not fact. Leona Lewis is fantastic (in my opinion, and most of the world's) She has sold more records in the short time that she has been around, and been number one much more frequently than Avril.
