Musically speaking there are a lot of things going on here, many layers if you will. Mostly, however, they use a type of minimalism that could be almost maddening if you really paid close attention, and their melodic development is slow. It also has elements of different styles within it, though none are explicitly obvious unless you filter out your hearing. Those factors understood, with the mixture of rhythms, styles, and monotony involved here, this music is certainly suited for potheads.
