If I were driving and I saw a street light go out I would assume it was the bulb and that I got lucky. If it happened a couple times in one night, I would assume that my headlamps were somehow tricking a photocell at the top of the pole. How anyone skips the mundane and imagines themselves a magical static being with extraordinary powers is beyond me. Well, how Tim Holmes does it is pretty clear but I am talking about the rest of you.
I thought it was the normal cycle of the light like some people here say it is but then I went out with some friends and while driving, I noticed that some lights were turned off and by looking at them while getting close (about 20ft) they would begin to turn on. This did not happen with just 3 or 4 lights but about 25. I also did it with the light like the ones you would see in the parking lot in Wal-Mart that have 2 each. Coincidence?
hahaha.. this is funny.. i just always thought that the street lights had a sensor that knew when a human had passed so it turned out to save hydro...because it has been happening to me my entire life...also radios go fuzzy or clearer when i go near them depending, I thought it happend to every one.. and as for cordless phones, i cant touch any part of myself when i am on them and watches always die on me...
There is a light in a park near me that goes off and on as you near it and walk away from it. Obviously a sensor is built into it so you have adequate light walking through the park at night. But street lights have similar sensors so they turn off after a person passes as an energy saver. Nothing paranormal folks.
The thing that slider don't realize is that there is a way to spike the energy. It's know to people that use cough medicine as a drug. It contains a drugs call dxm which is a disassociative which means that shuts down your frontal lobe causeing your ming to seperate from your body. People have full out of body expieriences. Allot of people have noticed sli and we all thought it just another wierd of dxm. I have seen this phenomena on a large scale every light going out. Research...
That happens to me, I was just talking to my boyfriend about that. He has that also. The street lights go out also when I'm driving in my car, not just walking. It's kinda weird. I'm a very "staticy" person.
It's not a "syndrome" and nobody calls it that but you.

It doesn't seem to happen if I'm thinking about it. Also, DXM is a known possible culprit. :p Increases aura field or something.
