The effect he has on is guitar is a flanger. It detunes the guitar as a simulation of the old technique of pressing your finger on the flange of the reel to reel tape recorders. Its easy to overdoo it though as this is an example. The delay is also in his mix and being turned on at some points is not the same. Maybe his tech was the one who overdid it since I don't see any pedals on the floor.
This song is really great, but wtf with the guitar?? Even Todd Whitener chorus are so out of tune, and Hugo is like i´m not in the mood for singing tonite. Tantric can do much better than this.
It's actually the intonation of that guitar. Parkers are highly over priced and really don't play that great. My guess would be the only reason he's playing it at all is because of an endorsement.

On TV Chat shows such as this, songs are never performed at the bands normal standard. That's generally a trend with any band. Production and setup just isn't as good.

no shit hey!!!too mch chorus too...this is a great song...but they are never able to produce the groove that they had on the studio version.i realize that not all live performances are perfect...but im yet to hear them tear this song up live.

Good version of the song but I thought Hugo did not sound as good as on the studio version. I guess that happens a lot with live performances. Nevertheless, Hugo rocks!!!

On TV Chat shows such as this, songs are never performed at the bands normal standard. That's generally a trend with any band. Production and setup just isn't as good.
Like you said though, this is still a good performance.

Ive literally just heard this song on a finishing episode of a programme called the shield. Its so powerful with that I've just gone and bought all of their abulms. Could of downloaded it but wanted to buy their music legit. New fan as of last night. Wish pub juke boxes could store this band's music.
