This song is so hard to listen to without crying because of his upbringing and now he is no longer with us. While many joke around about his weird ways, he was a true talent and also a great humanitarian. I hope and pray he is in a much better place now.

We all know that he wasn't able to enjoy being a child because of his fame at such a young age & that he's been desperately trying to recapture his "Childhood", but a "Childhood" only last for 12 years, then you become a teenager. Michael has been at this for 38 Years. His childhood lasted 3X as long as a normal child’s. Basically, His whole life was one really long "Childhood".

This song was a cry for understanding of a very misunderstood man. No one on earth now or in the past knows what it is like to be in the public eye on such a large level their whole life. People think MJ was strange and bizzare, but what we think is bizzare was his reality. Since he was 5 years old, all he knew was to perform, no one told him no, people pass out when they meet you, you cant go in public without mobs of people. His childhood and any hopes of a normal life were stolen. R.I.P. MJ

Why did I have to be born in 97 and miss out on this incredible man? This genius! I feel cheated, really. But I guess it's my job as a young fan to continue his amazing legacy for years.
