i saw this live & it was much better. it looked like they were having so much fun doing this. they were laughing & grinning & running around the stage. the crowd was going wild & roaring with applause & shouting for more. it was truly spectacular.
Ive seen Maired from Celtic Woman and she is just plain Amazing shes a Celtic Ashley McIsaac or Natalie McMaster thats all i have to say about her and i love this performance!!! its just incredible!!!
Most of their music can download from jc's abc, choose pdf or gif file. The music here is mostly reel, beginning is jig. Classical is completely different with fiddling, some classical violinist told me it is hard for classical players to play fiddle if they start late because the feeling is different.
fiddiling just has so much energy in it! i want to start, i play the violin, so i do classical stuff, but i've started playing some mariachi music, which is "sorta" similar to fiddiling! Great music, so captivating and entertaining!
I play the fiddle, it is a beautifull style, Ive been playing for 3 years, not quite as good as her obviously but still. It takesalot of determination, especialy with celtic fiddleing, what state are you living in? I live in alabama. Just wondering : )
My dad recorded The Lord Of The Dance on VHS when I was little. I remember watching it like every week with him! I was in love with this part and still am!
that should be the way man! i dread it when i see people playing on the stage so nervously. it's not supposed to be that way at all! you're supposed to enjoy the piece that you practised so hard and play it with a smile and really put your heart and soul into it.
so i think this is awesome; they did what they were supposed to do as performers- enjoy the music and play it with a smile.
I once (waaay back when) had the soundtrack of this show on cassette and I ruined the tape because I rewinded this part too many times... I just couldn't get enough of it and I distinctly remember thinking how neat it'd be to just be able to hit a button and hear it again instead of having to rewind (I was way ahead of my time^^ hehe)
I remember watching this live maybe 4 years ago and the sound delay compared to what your eyes saw (bow strokes, finger movements) was SO weird and distracting. Nevertheless, a great show!!

@n1njata1ls,
The original is called dueling Fiddles. Strings of fire is from "Feet of Fire" which is the live version
at hyde Park. I like the Original version Better.
