  • Pikeys!

  • I could not even start to imagine how hard it was to sync their fiddles.

  • Does any body know the name of the song at 1:12? I know how to play it but i'm drawing a blank on the name...

  • the Irish sure can play a great violin & fiddle

  • my mom might have been at that exact concert :D

  • This is so amazing.

I'd love to be this talented!

  • i saw this live & it was much better. it looked like they were having so much fun doing this. they were laughing & grinning & running around the stage. the crowd was going wild & roaring with applause & shouting for more. it was truly spectacular.

  • @n1njata1ls,

The original is called dueling Fiddles. Strings of fire is from "Feet of Fire" which is the live version

at hyde Park. I like the Original version Better.

The Original is called Lord Of The Dance.

  • i finally found the sheet music!! anybody who wants it, send me a message and you can have it

  • I would love to see the music!

  • @NatureLover987 here where u get the sheet music

  • @NatureLover987 Do you still have the sheet music?! PLEASE SEND IT TO ME!! Thank you!

  • Nessbitt and Smith - Gorgeous, Talented Women.

  • ...what makes me pissed... is that this piece was NOT recorded for the soundtrack :(

...is there a download for this anywhere??

  • same for that...

  • dude i've found it! its on the soundtrack of feet of flames!

  • nnah, its not the same... sorry :(

  • It WAS recorded :)

You can find it on iTunes. It's actually called "Strings of Fire".

  • omg... thank you!!!

..psh, too bad it doesn't sound the same tho... heh.. it sounds WAAY better live...

    but yeah... thanks ^^

  • yep, i've bought the same track from itunes but it is not the same at all at all !!!

  • this is the WHOLE reason why i'm proud to be irish and own a violin! hell to the yeah!

  • @sakurasfire you mean a fiddle, or is there no difference?

  • Oh my fuckin gosh! That's beautiful!

    Awesome!

  • Good God!! that was fantastic!!

  • Ive seen Maired from Celtic Woman and she is just plain Amazing shes a Celtic Ashley McIsaac or Natalie McMaster thats all i have to say about her and i love this performance!!! its just incredible!!!

  • p.s. does anyone know where to get the sheet music for this, if there is any? haha

  • Most of their music can download from jc's abc, choose pdf or gif file. The music here is mostly reel, beginning is jig. Classical is completely different with fiddling, some classical violinist told me it is hard for classical players to play fiddle if they start late because the feeling is different.

  • i have it. message me :)

  • fiddiling just has so much energy in it! i want to start, i play the violin, so i do classical stuff, but i've started playing some mariachi music, which is "sorta" similar to fiddiling! Great music, so captivating and entertaining!

  • I play the fiddle, it is a beautifull style, Ive been playing for 3 years, not quite as good as her obviously but still. It takesalot of determination, especialy with celtic fiddleing, what state are you living in? I live in alabama. Just wondering : )

  • man i wish i can play like that! XD

  • My dad recorded The Lord Of The Dance on VHS when I was little. I remember watching it like every week with him! I was in love with this part and still am!

  • AWSOME!!!

  • I know Mairead Nesbitt, but can someone tell me if the other is Cora Smith, or if my memory is tricking me?

  • Song Name ??????

  • that should be the way man! i dread it when i see people playing on the stage so nervously. it's not supposed to be that way at all! you're supposed to enjoy the piece that you practised so hard and play it with a smile and really put your heart and soul into it.

so i think this is awesome; they did what they were supposed to do as performers- enjoy the music and play it with a smile.

  • I LOVE THIS SOOO MUCH!!!!!!!!!

  • I once (waaay back when) had the soundtrack of this show on cassette and I ruined the tape because I rewinded this part too many times... I just couldn't get enough of it and I distinctly remember thinking how neat it'd be to just be able to hit a button and hear it again instead of having to rewind (I was way ahead of my time^^ hehe)

    Ah the memories....

  • yes she is

  • is one of them (the one who started) neamed Maread nesbitt from the celtic women

  • Nope, you're wrong. It's live.

  • It's true :)

  • I can vouch for that I saw it live

  • @ceilibandits youre right, i think the same

  • wow what else can i say

  • Absolutely stunning, as is the whole show, by the way.

  • WOW!!!! Bravo Love Love Love it !!!!!!! Makes my heart and sole very very happy.

  • Fantastic playing! shame about the clothing, but who cares when it's good music? I recognise the second jig but I can't place which one it is.

  • "Calliope House".

  • luv this vid!

  • Great!!!

    Love fiddles!

  • I remember watching this live maybe 4 years ago and the sound delay compared to what your eyes saw (bow strokes, finger movements) was SO weird and distracting. Nevertheless, a great show!!

  • This frelling wins.

  • Great players with charm !! Phalaina

  • there like the best in the world
