  • Wicked video. I just watched that and thats inspired me to get back on the decks for another few hours and put some more work in for my DMC Showcase for this year. Peace to you and yours RobSwift. :-)

  • @djmyme1 Hey, thanks for watching and good luck in this years DMC. Where are you entering??? What city?

  • @djrobswift Hi Rob, I will be entering the LONDON regional i may do another city this year as well then the Supremacy in June/July. Thanks again for the wicked video. Have a great day. Peace. :-)

  • I know there could never ever be a replacement go the Grand Wizard Roc Radia but if they needed anyone else in the group this is my choice....mad love for that humble dude Vajara.... The Real Dj Phanatik

  • @xclaim1 Vajra's the truth!

  • @RVCA91 Honestly dude, you think Dubstep will be dead by 2014? Something tells me it's not going any where. Electronic, double time music is freaking ruling the air waves rigth now.

  • no comment.. Vajra you're fuckin world champion and I love it. hell yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • dope. dj talk rocks

  • I'm so glad he brought hiphop back in the dmc's, I was tired of these soundless dubstep & stuff sets.. Big up Vajra! A real champ!

  • A BIG Thanks to the legendary Rob Swift ! I was fortunate to have met Total-E at a DMC contest in 07 in MN ! Your group along with our New 2011 DMC Champ are truly inspiring ! Hope to meet you in the near future . Congats to Vajra and thanks for letting the World see what this art form is really about ! Rob you captured a great moment for all turntablist to see thanks for the interview man ! Peace

  • that's dope. I should tweet about it. lol.

  • Vajra definitely did his thing in the DMC this year. I think the key to his success is his well roundedness and devotion to Hip Hop. He actually cut Hip Hop songs in his set like Nas' "Nasty" and "Choice Is Yours" by Black Sheep. He took it back to the essence but gave his overall routine a 2011 Vajra twist. I hope young DJs understand how important all of this is to the growth of our art!

  • thanks for posting. Congrats Vajra!

  • Im originally from Texas but im livin in Colorado now and it makes me happy to see there's "trueschool" DJ's from here, cuz honestly the whole dubstep DJ scene in blown up and no one even knows does this type of stuff anymore..

  • @RVCA91 Don't worry, Dubstep is just a fad that'll be dead in a couple of years.

  • This title is long overdue. I thought he should've won the year Perseus robbed him.

  • Who the **** disliked this?

  • Good interview Rob! Great seeing interaction between DJs.

  • Thx Rob !

  • dope ! thanks !

  • thanks for this video, Rob :) Vajra is dope, quite innovative, and for me he was an inspiration to start scratchin' few years ago. I'm happy now, cuz the title is in the right hands.

  • when will the video of his perfomance be released? I can't wait

  • thats whats up USA! USA !

  • What a great Upload. Thanks Rob
