The only difference between Kevin's new band Parabelle and Evans blue is...Kevin is obviously moving on, and Evans blue will always be stuck in the past. How? Well half of there fan base comments on there videos saying how kevin was the "whole" band. and its the truth!
Kevin is the kind of introverted genius that KNOWS he is a genius and so yeah, he is a dick sometimes but who the hell cares when he produces music like this? I haven't listened to Evans Blue once since Kevin left.
@zzrboy really? I love his new band too, but its nothing compared to what he had with Evans Blue. I'm glad someone else knows who parabelle is though haha
God, it's like every single song from this and their other album was perfect. This whole Unplugged session is breathtaking.
It completely bums me out that the music isn't the same anymore; the new guy was good on "Erase My Scars" and all, but the intimacy of performances like this is just lost behind their new facade.
i've talked to Kevin Matisyn before too, he's a very nice, unique person. But he does state a fact, Kevin was the only thing this band had. I saw them live with the new vocalist & they're nothing anymore. They should've changed the whole name.

I disagree, i message Kevin on myspace once, and he responded several times and gave me some really good advice. He was very quick to respond, and genuinely seemed interested in w.hat I had to say
@MrOcGuy690 its different in a band, your boss tells you what to do, but he's not like a co worker and you have to actually work with him. with a band you with that person all the time trying to make material, going on tours, working in the studios. I can imagine he didn't make it very pleasant for the rest of the band. I agree, the new singer sucks in comparison, but still, I understand why they let him go.

And yeah it sucks that he'#s gone as the new vocalist isn't to my taste either, but think about it... If you don't get on with everyone, the music will start to suffer because of it.
