at this point, I'm not trusting the state department on making a judgement on who is a terrorist group and who isn't. They have showed their competency through the the course of the past 8 years. Specifically when their classification isn't based on the actions of the group, but rather the political affiliations it holds with the US. By the actions that the Israel has taken against Palestinians, without formal declaration of war, it can be considered engaging in terrorist actions.

Khalidi supports Obama because he is"only candidate to express sympathy for the Palestinian cause."
Any sane and unbiased person would express sympathy for Palestine. They are a people subject to an illegal and aggressive occupation that looks more like an attempt at genocide every day. I do not condone their terrorist acts, but Israel is acting no different, and killing a lot more civilians than Hamas ever could or would.

Khalidi held fund-raiser for Obama in 2000 Senate run.
