  • any video with ivey in slow motion is going to be epic lets face it :P

  • Is this commercial a jab at moneymaker??

  • Best poker player in the world

  • This video has been added to your Favorites.

  • what's the song?

  • @TheTakeover84

LOL very nice, write ur own story

  • he's the best poker player but the best players are the executives who run the rigged ass sites... looks like they got busted today i knew it was fucking rigged as a 1/2nl reg

  • @ggnub100 lol wasn't rigged

  • @ggnub100 they fbi did not take down full tilt because it was rigged...

  • @Pirate44444 i never said ftp was taken down because it was rigged, i just felt it was rigged, i'm not the only one.

  • @ggnub100 You're not the only one no, you're also wrong. You FELT it was rigged because you remembered all your bad beats and forgot the hands you won when you were ahead. You have no idea how irrational this is. There are no stats, there is no evidence which proves it's rigged, if it was rigged, it would be REALLY easy to produce evidence.

  • @Pirate44444 prove that it's not rigged, brah. rigged or not the company is shady and took many people's money. look where lederer is he's got all your money.

  • @ggnub100 prove that it's not rigged. This is a typical irrational person comment. You do not prove the negative. If you think that's how it's worked, then you may as well say guilty until proven innocent.

As I said before, it would be really easy to prove online poker is rigged, yet it has never happened. You do not have the evidence, you are just guessing because you had a few bad beats. That is absurd and totally irrational logic.

  • @ggnub100 This is a matter of statistics, because all you have to do is present the stats that show that online poker is rigged. In statistics you start with a null and an alternative hypothesis. The null hypothesis is ALWAYS the negative. You can't do a switch-a-roony and make it a double negative.

The alternative hypothesis is online poker is rigged. The null is that it is not. Null hypothesis is assumed until you can prove the alternative. That is the sensible rational thing to do.

  • @Pirate44444 do you have 100% of the statistics from ftp? i didn't think so, derp.

  • @ggnub100 what's that got to do with it?

  • @ggnub100 what's statistics got to do with it? ROFL!!! pathetic.

  • @ggnub100 You said "they got busted today, I knew it was fucking rigged."

This strongly implies you think it was taken down because it was rigged, and don't pretend it doesn't. If you're going to get pedantic, then I never said that you said it was taken down because it was rigged.

  • @Pirate44444 they getting busted today and knowing it was rigged are two separate things, learn to read. pathetic, rofl.

  • @ggnub100 Haha you're a f*cking idiot

  • @JDLupus @Pirate44444 i never said ftp was taken down because it was rigged, derp.

  • @ggnub100 Never said you were an idiot for saying it was taken down for being rigged. You're an idiot for thinking it's rigged.

  • @JDLupus derp. you're an idiot.

  • This commercial weighs heavily upon the greatest, yet upon those who strive to be the greatest. There is a strategy.

  • I'd like to know who the narrator is... it sounds like Mike Matusow to me.

  • It's funny the previous World Series of doesn't even last Day 2 on the main event but he shruggs it off and places 3rd at the Bellagio Cup. It would have been epic only if he won that WPT event.

  • “Phil Ivey is no Cinderella. He’s not a fluke, longshot or happy accident. His fairy godmother didn’t give him seven bracelets, fate didn’t make him the best poker player in the world, and it wasn’t lucky charms that got him to the final nine. On November 10, Phil Ivey sits down at the final table of the world’s greatest poker tournament. Enough with the fairy tales"

  • @wiseguy1989xx. I totally agree. If his AK didn't get cracked, he would've been heads up with Joe Cada. And you already know who'd win.

  • have to w8 for wsop 2011 to see if can make it :) Ivey the best so far for me

  • (2008) Chino Rheem - out in 7th: AK vs AQ

(2009) Phil Ivey - out in 7th: AK vs AQ

(2010) Michael Mizrachi - probably out in 7th: most likely AK vs AQ

  • He's one of the best for sure! But when he will beat 11th bracelets,he will be the best,i'm not a Hellmuth fan,but the guy knows the game.

  • @innuboy Wtf are you talking about Hellmuth isn't even worth mentioning in the same sentence with Ivey the dude's in an inferior league.

  • @ahhgrobble lol.Thats my point man... ;)

  • @innuboy I mean hellmuth is shit.

  • He is the Boss!!!

  • funny how at the end when he blinks it hardly even is a blink

  • Without a doubt, the post poker player in history, and also one of the coolest dudes ever.Peace

  • simply the best

  • when an amateur reaches the main event final table, ppl say "Lucky guy",but when a poker pro gets there ,ppl say "He got there only becouse he got SKILLLLLZ,no lucky charmes :)"

  • @zelenqk Most amateurs don't get there consistently.Ivey in particular has so many deep runs in the main event, I think he got into 1% of the whole field like 4 times in the last 10 years (so if there are 5000 entrants, he consistently gets to at least 50th place). That's amazing

  • @ModeLTU In the Main Event from 2002 to 2009 he placed 23rd in 2002, 10th in 2003, 20th in 2005 and 7th in 2009. That is out of this world. And he probably would've won in 2003 if Moneymaker wasn't such a luckbox that year.

  • @mS28811 Yep.People don't remember players who go deep, but don't actually reach the final table.Hell, people usually don't even remember 2nd place finishers in the ME (Paul Wasicka anyone?).

Consistently getting into top 1-2% of the overall field is an AMAZING accomplishment. It's actually way more impressive than winning ME once and then dropping out day 1 three years in a row like Jamie Gold, for example

  • @ModeLTU that's why harrington making it in back to back years, after we saw the biggest expansion in field participants EVER from 2003-2004 is still bar none one of the greatest accomplishments in poker to date.

  • @YouCanCallMeAl1022 Agreed :P Winning ME or reaching the final table ONCE requires run-like-a-god-for-a-5-day-period kind of luck (Jamie Gold/Darvin Moon/Jerry Yang/Chris Moneymaker etc.), consistently placing in the top few % of the overall field requires a lot of skill as well.

A lot of casual viewers don't appreciate stuff like that

  • @YouCanCallMeAl1022 ppplllllease dont talk about harrington, i'd love to play against you and your out-dated techniques..

  • @mS28811 sigh i'll always remember the A,Q vs. pocket 9s. Siiiiiiick suckout.

  • He is the best :)

  • The Best...

  • @susel4o one of...

  • HE my favorite Tiger woods of poker

  • I love Phil Ivey.

  • lucky charms full tilt have the best comercials .

  • @Fr33co

  • I made more than 1k during the past 3 days by using this absolutely free online poker bot I discovered. You guys ought to take a look, just go to freepokerbotXnet (replace X with . ) and investigate it!

  • "Enough with the fairy tales" Pretty ironic considering the biggest suckout, luckbox in the history of the main event ended up winning :(

  • when his AK got cracked by AQ i was guttered... coz this guy is a legend to me

  • @wiseguy1989xx Same here! I actually left the casino, took the bus home just to watch the final table on tv. I was so excited to see it, and you knew he thought he had it in the wraps. Sucks that the right plays aren't always rewarded.

  • @jhalas20 actually its a good thing that the right plays aren't always rewarded as that's what keeps the donkeys coming back and make poker an extremely profitable game for those who know what they're doing

  • @wiseguy1989xx even worse is when his fullhouse later got worse to higher fullhouse on river A to moneymaker! so sad!! he would have won it all!

  • @redhidus that was the rivercard that changed the poker world. poker boomz.

  • @wiseguy1989xx

that's poker. if the final table was a cashgame, he'd won them all... just a matter of time

  • @wiseguy1989xx Stop with that Idol worshiping man.

  • @wiseguy1989xx He also got knocked out in 2003 by that shit Moneynaker with AQ. He held 99 and the board was QxQ9. He pushed and the river was an Ace O_O I think he also got knocked out from WTP events several time with AQ. Unlucky hand for him xD I guess that's why Brunson never plays it...

  • Great commercial, it's just too bad his AK got beat by AQ.

  • Like Daniel Negreanu said, if the Phil Ivey who can't be bothered and isn't taking it seriously enough turns up he won't win. And unfortunately that Phil Ivey turned up.

  • @hitmancoolio lol. No. He got sucked out on.

  • @hitmancoolio No he played very well. He played the best by far of any of the players at the final table. If his AK held up, he could well have gone on to win the whole thing.

  • @zell10035 I disagree saying he played the best by far even though he was the best player. Antoine Saout played the best as many will say.

He still would have been fairly short-stacked, but it would have given him a shot at at least better than 7th.

  • @gppf91 You're right Saout was the standout player of the 9 although obviously Ivey was the best player there.

  • @hitmancoolio are u fucken retarded? he was one of the short stacks to begin with so he went all in with AK against AQ, had a very unfortunate flop with a Q in it.

  • @hitmancoolio Please dont talk if you dont know what your talking about. He came into the final table short stacked and got sucked out on by Darvin Moon.

  • @hitmancoolio obviously you have no idea about what you're talking about....

    so just STFU.

  • Comment removed

  • great player, commercial gives me goose bumps. and FU about the redneck logger part moon just almost pulled off his magic run.
