If you have a PvE character you have to work for your gear and it can take a noob from 1 week to a month to get money for 1 set of a dream equip for 1 build. or you can make a PvP character where you can switch gear as you see fit and battle everyone else in fair games where the only thing that matter is the players ability and thats why GW wins against regular mmos.

i prefer to play pvp with my pve characters cause i can do other things with them once i get bored of pvp.I think pvp characters are just a waste of character slots

Being a player of both, i see that each have their positives and negatives. I personally find WoW more interesting, but at $10 a month...it really isn't that much better. The pvp is quite equal, but the mmorpg community feel and the pve obviously go to WoW. I personally found FLYFF, Archlord (although buggy), and Silkroad Online to compete up there too and they are compeltely free. If I made a suggestion, the best mmorpg for price consideration along with gameplay are the free ones for sure.

shock doesnt use a lot of energy its just the exhaustion.. dont nub spam it and youll be fine. When i AB i use Bulls Strike and Distracting Blow though cuz.. when youre knocking someone down in AB its usually when theyre running away from you or when they are using a skill such as meteor shower.

You're supposed to Build adrenaline - shock - frenzy - Unload.

I never really liked swords because it takes at least 3 skills to have an efficient spike unless you're using Sun and Moon+Dragon Slash. But with that combo, you have to rely on somone else to give a Deep Wound. Usually, I run Eviscerate+Executioner Strike for a clean and simple kill, or Devestating Hammer+Crushing Blow+Fierce Blow for some disgusting damage.

All depends on the context: in gvg there is much space for war's builds (axe spike, sword pressure, etc.), in HA axe must be a must and also in RA or TA arena often. In 12vs12 I prefer sword because usually I play in teams random, therefore the spike does not work.

Another reason is that I like my fellblade sword :)

I just noticed Bull's Charge at the end. Anyway, Swords are better at adding pressure but can spike with Sever Artery+Gash+Final Thrustwhile leaving room for an elite if you have the space on your skill bar. But Axes have access to Eviscerate, that adds deep wound and damage in one slot and can be followed up with Executioner's Strike for an efficient finisher. It's all about working around utility PVP skills that make your role easier.

Because the Shock build is mean for piking people and dealing tons of dmg, and swords arent really for heavy dmg...I should do a test with my friends on what works best. What sklls did you use? Classic Shock, 3 attacks, frenzy, bull's charge, sprint/rush, healing signet, and Res. or another combo? Get back to me ^^
