  • awesome...

  • Tasty, real tasty

  • JUST WENT ON GOOGLE AND FOUND THIS ( I just put in gary moore sude in german court ) A German court has ordered former Thin Lizzy guitarist Gary Moore to pay damages after ruling the guitar solo in his 1990 hit "Still Got the Blues" had been plagiarized from a German song written in 1974.

A court in the southern city of Munich said on Wednesday the solo in Moore's song was too similar to the one in "Nordrach" by the band Jud's Gallery not to have been copied .

  • Some awesome guitar playin' for sure.......

  • WELL IT WAS THAM SAME FOR ME GARY MOORE WAS USEING A BACKING TAPE WHEN I SAW HIM . he was pissu up and he treats fans like shit

  • The Amp is a Dr. Z Ghia

  • im in a band right now, and if i make it big i will be playing for my entertainment but if ppl come up to me wanting to talk and discuss guitar and things im not gonna blow them off :) maybe go jam with them

  • so good!!!

i love his playing, he make a lovely song about stevie ray, the master! i saw him in france, he is a very nice guy!

  • yes he seemed a nice lad . unlike gary moore who just told us all to fuck off and go home he said i play for me not you lot if you dont like it fuck off . thats our garry a total twat

  • like the others i saw gary moore at leeds he was shit he seemed piss up is playing was shit . on the other hand buddy was very good i was glad i saw him but sorry i saw gary the twat moore

  • how can someone as good as buddy play with a twat like gary moore . he must bo hard up to play with that twat .

  • i saw gary moore at the gig with Buddy Whittington. body was realy good gary moore was crap and rude to the fans and the reas of the band . he even told the bass player to fuck off 3 times the man is a twat

  • @yorksfarmer Well the twat is dead now. But we still got buddy. RIP gary despite ur character flaws. Buddy, lose some goddam weight or you'll be gone too soon too!

  • I have known Buddy since the early days in Hurst Texas..great to see him doing well

  • i met buddy today while we were both pickin' up our dry-cleaning in Hurst. TX. He just got back from England and now he is agoin' to Holland!

  • Michael "Mouse" Mayes - guitar

    Wayne Six - bass

    Mike Gage - drums

this is the band he used on his solo CD also

  • who is the guy thats with Buddy playing rythm, he's a fair old widdler. I saw Gary Moore for the first time at Manchester Apollo and agree with the other comments, he was not anywhere as good as I had thought live.

  • Dude's Awesome!

    Top quality man!

    GO BUDDY ♫

  • I saw him on sunday he was very good, alot better than gary moore who he was supporting at leeds, it is the 4th time i have seen gary moore and the worst, he seemed self indulgent as if he was playing for his self, the rifts were going on far too long, at one time 17min and seemed completly pointless, he never introduced the band, .

  • i still dont know who they are? at one point he says i havent paid to see you, you have paid to see me and shut the fuck up, and nobody knew why. I would be interested to know what anybody else who was there thought of it.

  • me and the folk i was with usally buy t-shirts and programmes but i thought he could get stuffed i was not spending any more money on him. I first saw him in 1979 playing with thin lizzy and i have got all his uk albums, i feel upset he behaved this way

  • I thought gary Moore was too self indulgant too !! he shouted at the bloke cos he asked for "Still in love with you " !! Great guitarist but that is the worst show i've seen him do. Arrogant tosser

  • Total agreement mate, was at Cambridge Corn Exchange last night.Buddy was great,Mr Moore however wasexactly as you say self indulgent! Shame really, first time i have got to see him and probably the last.He didnt engage the crowd!!

  • saw him suporting gary moore too but on sunday was mint :D:D:D

  • Same I saw him on friday. Brilliant player

  • I saw him live on friday supporting Gary Moore. They were both pretty amazing

  • I was always wandering who is the guitar man

playing with Mayall: i just loved it. And it is

this simple guy Buddy Whittington. I enjoy his blues very very much.

  • dont mess with texas...

  • Wow what a great surprise I've never heard of him before. What a great ....stumble.

  • the best of all for me !I send him an email from France & he answered as if I knew him all my life !unbelievable that guy is really the coolist & the real king of guitar !I place him before Clapton even I dont like to compare ,but according to his talent he should have ten millions more recognition from the masses

  • Buddy, great tone and feel as always!

  • I see him at the keys lounge all the time. Hes gonna be there this month. I learned alot from watching his picking style. Hes such a cool guy. I start watching clips of him to hear his guitar playing but, then i hear him sing and forget how good of a singer he is. damn his voice has as much soul as his guitar playin.

  • He's on the Dr. Z forum, and he's probably the funniest guy on there. He's become one of my favorite guitarists.

  • i saw him on Narcao Blues 2005 toghter john mayall:Amzing blues guitarist!!

  • I saw mayall live twice and I was impressed by this guy playing damn guitar... awesome

  • What is it about fat blokes that make them such great guitar players?

I'm thinking Johnny Hyland, Buddy Whittington, Walter Trout...

  • Buddy's not Fat, he is big boned

  • that was a reply to beachhutblues

  • ok..."

    fat boned" then.

  • Buddy es otro pedo, no se porque no ha sido más reconocido y mencionado en las revistas de guitarra que se comercializan más....

  • Anyone know what amp he's using? I know it's a Dr. Z, just can't remember if it's a Ghia or Maz 18.

  • Ghia

  • @dzaneh Ya today it's a Ghia but I've seen him use a Maz a lot too. Not really sure how he decides between them.

  • funny how alot of the people responding to this video think its just some dude down the local club. this guys filling claptons shoes and what a job he does

  • That is Mouse Mays playing sideman with Buddy, another Texas blues master.

  • Wow! He was great too... I liked his 'custom' strat with a fron humbucker - killer smooth tone. Great vid.

  • Good concert at FUMC last night

  • Very good version.

Buddy is an excellent guitar player.

  • Fine version, Buddy!

  • All Your Love (I Miss Loving)- Otis Rush.

Buddy is good, but Stevie Ray Vaughan has a very good version also from this song!!!

  • "All your love" by John Mayall and the bluesbreakers

Great sound! Saw this life two weeks ago.

  • By Otis Rush, not Mayall. Mayall just covered it.

  • What's this song ???

  • He's great no doubt...but always seems to be in too much control.

  • your comments are repetitive to the point of redundancy, and boring to boot. get a new shtick. players that can be out of control, like allman buddy guy, buchanan, at times sound like shit

  • I wish I had his control! Buddy has a command of the guitar that few players have been able to master.

  • Thats cause he is professional lol

DIffernce between A beginer and a Professional Consistancy.

  • Yeaah his a boss, i saw him YESTERDAY NIGHT at Fribourg (Swizterland), I paid CHF 5.- (= $3) for the concert of my life. Well actually it was a John Mayall's concert, but Buddy was more present. Wonderful. Forever in my mind. Peace niggas

  • I'm glad you liked him and got to see him!!! BUT... pleeze lose the "niggas" CRAP! Intelligent folks here in the States anyway DON'T talk like that! Save it for other places. I'm not taking a shot at you! It was just discouraging for someone who's 21 and from Switserland to talk like that. :(

  • lol, hey man, i know that, i was just fooling around, i know you don't speak like "i ain't got no shit, nah mean?" stuff, but as hip hop music is all about that kind of language, i find it pretty funny. oh btw, i'm 17, just don't know why i said i was from 1987.

  • I didn't know Homer could play like that?

  • It's a Lentz HSL (hybrid Scott lentz)...

made by Scott Lentz from San Diego CA...

    great guitars

  • What guitar is he playing? Has P-90's.

  • Good guy and an ax MONSTER

  • That's good stuff. Thanks a heap for sharing.

  • the amp is an 18w DR Z Carmen Ghia...guitar staight into amp no pedals

  • Now that's the real tele sound...'cept he's got it beefed up, eh?...what's de amp...old bassman...super reverb?

  • well he's had a little practice since he plays in the Bluesbreakers ;^)

  • Thanks dzaneh, nice videos !!!

  • All Your Love, 1960's Bluesbreakers style. Classy video, great rendition.
