I'm thinking about getting the solar system for my little boy....how does it hang on the ceiling? Do you put it in place of the current light or ceiling fan..or do you just attach it anywhere on the ceiling?

You put it where you like. You have to drill a hole (or was it two), but it's pretty easy to put up.

@ashleighmooney If you want to spend a little more money, you should by the homestar pro 2nd edition. It is EXTREMELY realistic. When you have the lights off, it looks like you were staring up at the night sky as if you were outside laying on the grass.

i got the solar system in my room for my kids and its the biggest pile of crap ever, its cheap rubbish, its noisy, the planets are plastic with shrink wrap plastic for detail, yep itsnot even printed detail on the planets how cheap is that, did i mention its noisy? the light is so dim its pathetic, and omg they expect you to drill 6mm holes in your ceiling, i threw the brackets and use 2 self tapping screws.

do not buy anything off uncle milton what a let down, its going back for a refund.

No its not cause I have the solar system in my room and it was going when I was sleeping and I just kept on sleeping as it was on.
