stop guys... theres an answer for this. An answer that will eliminate all your questions. They're hypocrits... WHAT THE FUCK DO U EXPECT THEM TO SAY? BULLSHIT? OF COOURSE!
oh yea I love how the woman talking about how they found what "they" considered violent content. I seem to remember in Sleeping Beauty rated G the villian turning into a dragon and the prince killing it. Also rated G was Aladin where it shows the hero stabbing Jafar who had transforrmed himself into a large snake with a sword.
Yea no violence in either of those "kid friendly" cartoon at all. That was scarcasm in case people here missed it.
lol, it's always against Mortal Kombat, it's hilarious. Video game violence does nothing to children, the only thing it does is bug the parents and then the parents, instead of just selling the game, have to make a large scale attack against video game violence. If the kid isn't smart enough to know the difference between video games and life, then it's the parent's fault, not the games, take responsibility for your child.
my mom was a real strict person when it came to video games, tv, music and heaven forbid books, they had to be "age apropriate" before I was allowed to play, watch, listen or even read.
actually, I am pretty sure to this day she kept an eye on my actions for a good reason, I mean sure I live on my own now and can play any game I want but I play GTA quite a bit now since I can understand its a game and not meant to be emulated in a real life scenario.
I wouldn't go to a violent killing rampage, no matter how long I would play Gears of War. Neither would I go stealing stuff after playing Thief. No smart guy does that! Sadly not everybody are smart, and thats the reason why games have been marked as eeeeeeeeeevil.
I'm 16 and I play Grand Theft Auto 4 and Gears of War 2, etc. I think there are a lot of kids that can be affected by this stuff, such as I was at Best Buy and there's a kid of about 7 asking if they had any games where he could just kill people. If kids play it excessively or start losing their social lives, get them to stop. I play every now and then, but I NEVER think about it when I'm out with friends. Some are mature enough and others aren't.
i play violent video games to do what i cant do in real life and unviolent video games(like fifa, rugby, nba, olympics) to simulate real life things. If someone does what he views in a violent video game then he has no personality.Yes i am a gamer with no social life but at least i know how to have fun.And video games are for having fun.
FUCK I'M MATURE ENOUGH TO KNOW THE DIFFERENCE! I PLAY GTA AND I DON'T GO ON A VIOLENT RAMPAGE! I'M A KID, I HAVE NO ACCESS TO GUNS, HO'S, OR DRUGS! I DO HAVE A FUCKIN' BRAIN! man...
here in luxemburg my mom baught me that games i wanted ragrdless of the ratings and....im not murder or aggressiv:P ok i was a kid but i knew to separate the game from reality...
exactly, I been watching r movies and playing mature games since I was like 8, and guess what, I haven't killed anybody, the people I think they're talking about are just crazy from the start, or they're just completely retarded and don't know the difference between games and reality.

If violence is such a worry for our society, why the hell did we go to iraq and kill real people. Talk about a society with fucked up values.

Ah, your comment seems a bit overwhelmingly emotional over this issue.
What a typical gamer attitude.
