Greetings beloved ,let me just share and submit to all, Paul Washer I love you, I am a follower of Yahushua Hamashiach and try to walk in His footsteps, I try to walk His walk, Yahushua has saved me a wretch like me, after 40 years of sin & carnality. through all my searching till now I have only found one who shares & thinks exactly like I do which is what the Bible says, Paul Washer, no flattery brother just love and affinity in Christ. Yes when men hear the truth they retaliate.

Another great message. I just wish Paul would not mention particular denominations such as Baptist since it is a hassle to edit out these references when we use these excellent sermons in our chapel. The Scripture does not promote any denomination since by definition a denomination holds true to a particular pet interpretation of Scripture. This pet interpretation may or may not be

now I am realizing how trivial everything is compared to the Gospel. I completely forsaked everything in my life and wanted Christ and none of anything else anymore. When I rested on Christ, I knew my sins were gone forever. For a few days christ was literally everything and I kept looking unto Christ. Today, for some reason my eyes fell off of Him. I also feel like im doing everything wrong and im questioning whether something is true or not...The Gospel is really the only thing that can save.

The eternal true Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ is ALL ----- it's hard to imagine that any truly born-again child of the Living God above, cannot be ENCOURAGED BY this sermon by Paul Washer. It's amazing to me, some of the comments raggin on Paul Washer saying the message makes them "feel bad" .... I'm like wtf? Did I miss something??

I wanna hear about God and Who He is.does anyone know a sermon where Paul Washer actually says that. .i remember when i was a kid...sunday school. how i wish i could go back, id probably be the most enthusiastic kid there. shows human nature that even colouring and learning cool stories were boring, because they were about God.

Thank You for the Sermon. I was a self centered Christian for more than 30 years. I worshiped a God that created by my own mind. If it is not because of His Grace giving me a bold sermon such as this one, I would never understand what the Truth is.

This servant of God feels an overwhelming burden for lost souls. He has seen sincere Christianity practiced by third world Christians who practically have nothing in terms of material wealth and comparing it to affluent, comfortable, opulent, trivialized Bible illiterate Christianity here in U.S. Never Expect a prophet to says things that delightful and easy things to hear, just read Jeremiah.

My point is not that preachers are bad, even though often idolized by their followers. All teaching elders will always point you back to the Word. PW points people to the pulpit and not the Word. The pulpit will never replace your own study time in the word. This concept is at the very heart of what it is to be Protestant.

i get frustrated when i watch Mr. Washer. I like a lot of what I hear from him. But I NEVER hear anything positive about what God is doing. I never hear anything good about anyone in the American church. I know there are a lot of issues with people but we are continuing to be sanctified. Many Christians are at different places at the same time. As long as one has faith in Christ, confessing Him as Lord and believing God raised Him from the dead, then one will be saved.

Most of what Washer teaches as problems with believers is simply looking at the fruit of a believer. While these are important things, one cannot fake them. He is, probably accidentally, doing what he accuses many of doing with the sinner's prayer. While he shows how we judge fellow peers who claim Christ, he is inadvertently creating yet another formula in proving one is saved. Preach faith in Christ on the cross and let God sanctify. While we must do much of what Paul preaches, there is

no formula for salvation apart from faith Christ! People will become guilt ridden by Paul's preaching and try to do what he prescribes so they can come off as saved or convince them of their own salvation. I know Paul doesn't want this, so I think he needs to note that. Paul preaches faith in Christ but focuses much on the judgment of believers without noting that what he says isn't a work for salvation. There are no cookie cutter Christians, just sinners in love with Christ, trusting Him.

according to Washer being saved or not being saved depends on wether you do good works. so a christian can see if he is saved or not depending on wether he does good works.

this is dangerous because not everybody who does good works automatically is saved but it automatically leads to this conclusion. i guess according to Washer a catholic who does good works all the time would also be saved....

Sir we must repent and believe. Both of which must be genuine. We are to examine our claim of being a Christian in light of scripture. The way is narrow. Only a few will find it. Jesus was speaking to professing believers when He said, depart from me I never knew you." Submission to the Lordship of Jesus Christ and enduring to the end leads to salvation. I just wanted to add that to your comment, because the doctrine of Regeneration, is being twisted by Decisional Regeneration/Baptismal Regeneration, being born of the Spirit has been reduced to a mere human proformance such as repeating a prayer

amen flanger7777, another thing that is a burden on my heart, is the inspired word of the holy ghost, when John the baptist said, 'I baptise with water, but He shall baptise you with fire and of the Holy Ghost is not poetry.' Its almost as if the devil is trying to take the Holy Spirit out of the church..and this being born of the spirit is soooo absoulotly critical, that our lives do indeed depend on it. its a beautifull truth, the word says, seek him with all your heart and you shall find him.

me neither. has washer EVER talked about something encouraging? not that i know. he only makes his listeners feel bad and focus on their sins and checking themselves all the time to see if they really are saved. this stuff will sooner or later drive you insane!

i emailed washer's ministry years ago asking them about healing and miracles. got no reply. i bet they dont even believe that God still does such things. what hope can they offer if they deny the power of God?

We need more preachers in this country? 1 John 2:27 As for you, the anointing you received from HIM remains in you, and you do not need anyone to teach you. What we need in this country is the sheep reading the Word. All sheep should know the scriptures as well if not better than the preacher. This is calvinism. The roman catholic message of PW doesn't call for the sheep to study, just the preachers aka "preists". Stop listening to PW and open your Bibles! God Bless you all.

The term in 1John 2:27 that you allude to is more commonly translated "man", and the whole point of Paul's comment isn't to say that you shouldn't have a pastor. It's to say that you don't need to adhere to the men "who seduce you" just as it says in the previous verse. Context matters. You can open your Bible all you want, but if you just read what you want to read out of it, it doesn't matter much anyway.

And the sheep should know scriptures as well if not better than the one gifted by the Holy Spirit. the word "priest" in the Bible is the same word as "elder" and "shepherd" and "presbyter" - we need spiritual leaders, and Paul Washer is one of them!

I don´t understand why you think PW is related to Rome. Think it through - he does NOT preach works salvation, but as James said: faith without works is dead (and that´s biblical) - yet salvation is by Christ alone - that´s what P. Washer says.

The problem with listening to Paul Washer is that he exposes what horrid preaching I've heard all my life--and that includes my current pastor who is an above average preacher!! I would love to be able to attend a church where such sermons were common place!!
