First the critic! If you get a tin of T&L Syrup take the lid off and pour it out, preferably on a pancake or toast so you dont waste it.
You will notice the real syrup moves quite a bit slower, so I suggest cranking up the drag force strength to slow down the particles. Other than that its perfect, the materials colouring etc Great work!
when you actually pour a tin of syrup, it takes alot longer to actually come out, as syrup is quite dense in mass. What I always do when doing these simulations is try to perform it in real life first and record what happens, then use the timing from the video and match it to the simulation. Looks really tasty though!
as fantafreak said it broke up, but even at room tempriture of about 20 to 25 degrees C, syrup does not pour like that, i should know, i love it on my porrage :P
That was damn cool, the only "flaw" is that the syrup breaks up as if it was jello. Syrup flows rather than break, so if you fix that, it's a perfect 10/10 animation
i like it... lightning and materials are very good .. but the can is full of it.. and when it is spilled on table, it looks that it could be much more of it in the can
Hey, pretty good! I think a little too gelatinous (NOT too runny). The material seems close, but the pour itself looks a little funny. Well, experiment!
it looks very realistic, but the syrup was coming out of the jar and the jar was still almost upright, but once it came out, and was on the ground, it was insane man
great!

Looked a bit weird to me. It had the texture of syrup but the consistency of jam.
Still pretty awesome though

The syrup glows a bit too much and doesnt quite stick enough to the container. Otherwise perfect.

Everything looks good expect that syrup itself is not sticky enough. Materials, lighting and rendering were really good.

That syrup has quite a high viscosity for syrup.

The syrup behaves like it's far too attracted to itself. More flow, less Jell-O.

VERY nice. The tint could have been a tad bit darker (like dark amber maple syrup) but the physics is the main focus. It looked good nonetheless.

it take time. post a vid now with an example of your best 3d studio max skills. and post one in 6 months and see how different they will be.
wind27382 3 years ago
water in 3d max is very hard this guy used a program that calculates how the fluid goes.
ive tried it even with this program "realflow" it fkking hard to make liquid stuff.
but 3d max isnt the program to realy model and animate a wave.
im not realy a pro in 3d max but ive got lessons from my school so i know a thing or 2 but im not close to expert yet XD..
