He's accent is shocking if its meant to be Australian. It sounds like a New Zealand accent. Plus the Australian accent is not as bad as people make out, and theres more then one Australian accent, depends on what part of the country you live and what your heritage is. Example my family comes from England and Ireland, I was born here in Australia and have never left the country but I have slight English and Irish accents on various different words. We're also influenced by Hollywood alot.
