  • just a tip you dont need a net when your on a kayak cause your really low anyway

  • Tiemco soft shells are my go to lure. Also keep your locals secret. I understand why you do it. Respect!! Tight lines!!

  • What lure mate? I've been getting good stuff on my river2sea bubble popper but that action of yours looks awesome.. mind telling me what it is?

  • wow, never knew australia looked like that. Looks similar to Alabama. Good fishing!

  • that was so cool i want to buy a kayak and go down to my local lakes. keep fishing just wondering do u ever catch bass in vic?

    cheers

  • Only 13? Your profile says 16, but anyway, thats not really important.

The rods I use are now all G_loomis and reels are all Daiwa. Anything from the Vienta to the Steez. I use braided lines on the overheads, and fused lines in the spin gear. Flurocarbon leaders.

As for the location...Is it a creek that runs off the Clarence? Nope! Those videos dont make it to Youtube.

  • Hey loomis77,

I am from Grafton and I often go to Lilydale and the Gorge fishing for cod and bass. I was just wondering what gear you use? Rod, reel, line. I mainly liked fishing the Wooli area but I am keen to get into bass and trout so any suggestions on what rod and reels to buy. $400 max. for the both because I am only 13 so I don't have a great deal of money. Do you use braid or mono? Just one question about location that won't give it away, is it a creek running off the Clarence river?

  • could you tell

    me where this creak is

  • Sorry, but no. Tight little creeks like this are hard to find, and get very little pressure from fellow anglers. As a result the fishing tends to be better then average. So telling everyone where they are can only lead to more pressure and less fish.

I hope you understand my reasons.

  • yeah sure mate

  • my bad sorry. have u ever used a skitter prop then?

  • No, I have great success with my current lineup of surface lures so I see no need to add anymore.

  • that would be a rebel pop-r the most exciteing lure here is.

  • Its a jitterbug!!

  • Do you ever use spinnerbaits and how much did your kayak cost

  • Its a jointed jitterbug...one of my favourite all time surface lures
