i got a message from my girlfriend saying she would break up with me.... Ironic seeing as this was the song i heard just before got the message... ''Trust me''.. Yeah right.... Well listening to it again, it doesn't bring me any bad memories or remorse. I guess i'll just move on.
@Astralgd Thanks man.... Hearing that from a complete stranger really warms the heart. I wasn't being sarcastic, i realised it might have sounded like that though...
@aset3000 I think it's because some people don't like the games of today, but want the classic games to look like the games of today, but still play like the older ones. I personally don't care because I think this game is still beautiful, even looks better than some games today. There's actually a petition out there to have this game remade, but they want Square Enix to change all of the mechanics and story. What's the point in making a remake then? Might as well make a different game.
Just finished listening to most of these videos and i haven't found one yet that doesn't have a whole array of comments saying how "moving" or "beautiful" etc each piece of music is. most musicians will never have an album where every single song is as good as the next. but this does and it's a video game.
but there was so much more past the music, which made this game so great. But the music comes with me wherever i go. If i feel happy, sad, angry, anything. i know what to listen to.

what a game... astonishing. that story overall is marvellous. all those people who aged for years and still remember about that one, we listen to the epic music and we will never forget - never forget that there were times when games were used to tell great Stories with depth, meaning and love to detail just like an awesome book.
those times are over, just take a look at new FF-titles. times have changed :/
@darknesSinZeRo69 It's true they've changed. I personally still like the newer games, though I respect people who don't. The problem is that with a lot of games, there just isn't much passion to make them anymore. It's all corporate executive BS that interferes with artist's ideas. That's why so many game designers are leaving their companies and starting their own. I won't say the older ones are perfect, but up to X, they all at least had moments that made me care what was going on.
this music makes me wanna cry.....i mean its have been what ages since i played this game...those wonderful memories ....wish they would remake this...with voices...wish they would make a movie like the ff7AC...
I love this soundtrack so much. Nobuo Uematsu is the reason I started writing music, I heard his music 10 years ago and haven't stopped writing since
juitz88 this game don't need a remake:even today, its very playable and still quite beutifull.I think that a Sequel would be cool, but COOL sequel, not like they fucked FF X-2(Charlie angels meet Final fantasy....)
@juitz88 Well no, i don't want it now. Uematsu is gone, Kitase is acting like an idiot since hd generations, and nomura is getting tired. When I see FFXIII, i'm just scared of the idea to have one of my best game ever with FFVII, to be destroyed...
There's a Rush song called Far Cry and one line says "It's a far cry from the world we thought we'd inherit." Well this song, Trust Me, makes me sad because it completely feels the opposite- the world we should be in; unfortunately, we can't have a perfect world where things are just and everything's good.. we have to create our own worlds separate from the real one to be able to have that. This song lets me feel peace and joy and happy tears at the same time (tears because I'm grateful for it).
@Tekudo I like how your interpretation was less dramatic and different than mine. Btw, another track to listen to good for that would be Rin's Inn theme from Final Fantasy X.
I remember the first time I heard this song, just after fighting Fujin and Raijin for the first time and then finding out they weren't coming back to Balamb Garden. Quite sad because who else would replace them in the Disciplinary Committee? :P
Im really sad...Since the FF come from the PSX it's not the same:S I mean the FFX was amazing..But not like the FFVII and VIII...Something is missing in the new episodes and even from the spin off-s...I can only hope the VERSUSXIII going to similar like the old ones...
I still play this game and being a grown man, there are a few scenes in the game which still makes me emotional, such as Laguna on his personal rescue mission for Ellone. So much trust can be placed on Laguna.
@LingFangKou Totally agree with you there. The part that struck me the most is when you guys finally go to Esthar and Laguna tells you the rest of his story. Having this song playing in the background while you see Laguna, Ellone and Odine chase each other around the lab knowing that he'd never see Raine again is one of the most poignant scenes I've ever seen in a video game for some reason.
I love this song i use it whenever Im thinking or well when I sent my friend Melody a message telling her how I feel about her I told her I love her and now im just waiting for what she'll say im kinda hoping for the best if the wrost happens I hope me and her are still friends. Melody means the world to me.
this song reminds me of the missile base. when i first did it I used Selphie (obviously) Zell and Quistis, and I thought they'd all be killed and I'd nevar get to use them again haha.
I thought the same :( and I was so sad especially when the missles went off and then they had no place to shelter and kinda lost hope....Selphie and Zell were my fave cuz i sent them two and quistis ._.
I dunno, I just think FFV-X and Chrono Trigger and Cross have my favorite set of games. You know what? Forget games, the COMPOSERS are.. I want to meet them! =D
I finally found it. This is the sad part when the three who went to Galbadia Missle Base begin to wonder if they are going to die. One of them even asks if Squall purposely sent them there to die.
i played all the games from 6-10 part 2, i cant member these moombas showing up alot though, only in ff8 and 10 (as one of lulu's weapons) i agree with wdbisl, cause this music is on when laguna saves that moomba from being pushed around by the dikhead soilders!

It was for Ellone to trust in Laguna.
and for 'the members chosen" for military base infiltration to trust in Squall's choice of his members.
